If you're looking for retirement, look somewhere else.
Rusty is working his metal joints off doing farm work and cleaning up scrap yards. (He will probably even do that when I'm retired.)
Why he's doing that, is beyond me. He's such a workaholic... It's cute watching him though!

I've bought this game to still play something when I'm busy doing something else on my private PC. Which doesn't happen too often to be fair.
It's nice to let it run on the side and sometimes check if it needs some interaction from me. It actually makes me want to stay at my pc more often. :D

The gameplay isn't overly complicated. I highly appreciate the focus mode and the vertical mode though!

I enjoy this game more than I thought I would.
Highly recommended!

Played on a Steam Deck.

I‘ve played the Dorfromantik board games in the past and absolutely love them for a quick session or two. Friends brought them over one time and I had to get them too!
When I saw there was a Steam game available, I was contemplating a lot if I should buy it or not. Bought it in a sale and I was very happy about it!

Positive / Neutral / Negative
+ Very relaxing game (sometimes too relaxing, so that I get sleepy :‘D)
+ Monthly themes increase the replay value
o I wish there were more clear objectives/quests, like in the actual board game
- Bigger maps can be quite chaotic/hard to navigate on a smaller screen

Gameplay
Dorfromantik is a very cozy and relaxing game.
You get a certain number of total tiles and need to build a map. It involves a bit of planning as not all tiles can be placed adjacent to each other. (The big exception are trains and river tiles. This is very well explained in the game tutorials though!)
Cutting off your area, for example your forest, can end up in an early end if you cannot complete the objectives.
I just wish there were a few more obvious quest lines available like in the board game.
There are ingame achievements and feasts but I think they are not very obvious.

Dorfromantik also has replay value, as each month is a new theme available.
Last month for example involved almost exclusively train and lake tiles, which made the game really complicated but fun!

Oh btw, the controls on the Steam Deck are fine, but on bigger maps it tends to get a bit chaotic on the small screen. Especially if you have objects on different parts of your map. You may sometimes need to „jump“ a lot depending on which tile comes up next. By which I mean, scroll farther out, move around, scroll farther in, else moving over the map can be a bit slow.

Visuals / Audio
The visuals are very pretty. Later in the game, you are able to unlock several themes. My personal favorite is the Sakura Theme and when I unlocked it, I immediately turned off all the other themes. I am really happy that this is an option in this game.
The background music is very chill and relaxing, which perfectly suits this game. I get cozy vibes whenever the music plays. A hot cup of chocolate, some very comfortable blanket and this game are a very good combination.
Dorfromantik also has some sound effects, for example for the trains that are running through. They aren‘t very loud and are just proper fitting ambient sound effects.

Performance
Runs well on my Steam Deck. The bigger the map, and the faster you run from one edge to the other, it can result in tiny lags. They are not really noticable/an issue though.
I did not adjust any settings. It just runs well on the default settings. :)

Summary
If you‘re looking for a relaxing building game with replay value, Dorfromantik may be an option!
I will most likely get back to it occasionally, at least to do the monthly challenges, and whenever I need some relaxing time off.

This game was played on a Steam Deck.

This game was recommended to me by friends and I ended up buying it in a sale.
Somehow this game just isn‘t for me though. The weird thing is, I can barely grasp it myself why I don‘t like it, or why I’m not warming up to it.

Positive / Neutral / Negative
+ Mods available

o There is a story, but I personally don‘t think it‘s interesting.
o NPCs are kinda rude at the begining. (Neutral because I hope for character development later…)

- Lot of time is wasted doing menial tasks, e. g. carrying around stones and lumber one by one
- Too many (similar) crafting stations. Hard to find the one you actually need.
- Some things are just not well explained and I had to Google a ton

Gameplay
In Graveyard Keeper you‘re kinda Isekai‘d into this medieval world and are being thrown into your new job with talking skulls and unusual… customers.
I didn‘t get hooked by the story. You basically are thrown into a different world with no context, which isn‘t really wrong, because you need to learn the job. Still… The 5 minute intro from your own world felt kinda useless so far. As I didn‘t play very far though, and I will not judge the game on that alone, but it felt odd to me, so I thought it was worth mentioning it.

The main character himself is very meek. All he wants is to go back to his wife and is a total pushover. Most NPCs are very unfriendly towards our MC, which comes with his occupation, and are basically still dumping work on him.

What bothered me the most was the gameplay itself though. There is a story line but sometimes, the guides aren‘t very clear and you will need to figure out things on your own. Which is usually fine. However, I found myself stuck a few times already because I built the wrong workshop or Items and then had no resources left. Some things are not really well explained either. Like, where do I get the blue points and the science points? I either missed that tutorial or it wasn‘t explained properly. I felt helpless most of the time and all I did was asking Google or trying to fiddle on my own. Last one wasn‘t very uh… successful most of the time.

Also. Here again, basically it does make sense why they chose to do this, but carrying stones or lumber one by one? Half a day is lost just by transporting some resources back to my home… There are better ways to waste my time than doing menial work like that.
The game could really use some QoL Updates. (Inventory, Chests and Workbenches, I am looking at you as well…)

Visuals / Audio
The visuals were fine! At first, I didn‘t like the character and menu design, I got used to it at some point though. (I prefer cuter art styles usually)
Personally, I don‘t remember the music anymore. (Has been a while since I last picked it up)

Performance
It ran well on my Steam Deck most of the time. I noticed some lags here and there when running around, especially when it rained.
I had to adjust the resolution of the game though. The default resolution didn‘t fit the screen properly.

Summary
Personally, Graveyard Keeper isn‘t my cup of tea. Neither the story line hooked me, nor the actual gameplay.
Maybe I will get back to it at some point and give it another chance. If I do, I will adjust my review of course.
If you don‘t bother about doing menial tasks, and don‘t mind looking up guides regularly, getting this game on a sale may be a good idea.
Even though I rated this as not recommended, I don‘t regret getting it on a sale for <5€. Now I know, it‘s just not for me.
I personally wouldn‘t want to pay the full price though.

This game was played on a Steam Deck.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game.
And personally I would say it‘s some kind of Dark Souls in Pixel Graphics. (And let me tell you, Dark Souls is one of the worst games you could give me, because I am so bad at them!)

Positive / Neutral / Negative
+ I love the graphics!
+ Lots of Skills and therefore tons of ways you can build your character
+ Funny characters
+ Multiplayer
o Lots of riddles
o can be kind of grindy
- Hardest Phase Shift required for True Ending (I will rant about this later)

Visuals / Audio
I love the visuals… They really put a lot of effort into all the sprites!
The characters, the background and the areas were really lovely. There were also a lot of different sprites for different reactions and actions.
The audio was totally fine! The soundtrack and the ton of sound effects fit the game perfectly!

The visuals were definitely my highlight of this game. This and Bag kept me going till the normal end.

Performance
This game performed really well on my Steam Deck!
I don‘t remember changing any of the settings and there were no noticable lags.

The only thing I can nitpick was, that during one of the boss fights my game suddenly crashed and I had to reopen it. (Sandgolem Battle)
This only happened once in my 25 hours play time though. And then I had a save directly before the boss / inside the boss room. So no big issues here.

Gameplay
I put the gameplay as my last point on purpose this time.

Let‘s start with the positive first:
The game itself is kind of an action-like RPG. You level up, get different skill points, which you can put into skills and passives. However, there is no real skill tree. Which means you can put the points into the tree however you like. This can be good and bad. Especially if you don‘t know how the skills work together with eachother. However, you can simply refund already placed skill points and get them back. So nothing is lost if you later notice, that the build you thought was cool, wasn‘t really feasible!

There is also a story line to follow. I personally liked the story and wanted to know how it ends… Which brings me to my biggest gripe with this game.
This game has two endings. A normal ending. And a true ending.
And for **** sake, I don‘t understand why they locked the true ending behind the hardest riddle in this game!!!
Riddle doesn‘t really come close to this. Riddles can be solved by following instructions. I am not really a very fast person. I need my time to process and to properly choose my input. So riddles, that are timeboxed are a complete no-go for me. (Let‘s say I am kind of challenged with motions and fast reactions… Two left hands or so.)
I have done all the pre-requisites for this stupid ending… Except for the last two pieces of the Phase Resequencer. The 2nd one broke me and I WILL NOT GET BACK TO IT. I tried for more than half an hour and I was so close to tears because even with guides I wasn‘t able to do it!
The sad thing is, I was so close to finish it TWICE but instead of leaving north, I left north-east and had to restart again…
YES, I AM A SLOWPOKE. I know it! And I accept the fact. Hate me all you want. I will NOT understand why this is a requirement for the True Ending! And I hate the devs for this design!

Ok. I said it. Now I feel better.

Back to something positive: The NPCs.
Bag was such a mood. And I kept the little fairy from the side quest by my side until the normal end and I enjoyed the comments so much.
These two were the best companions I could wish for!

Also there are some characters inside this game, who really have gone through some character developments. I was really happy to see this. :)

Also the combat was really hard sometimes, and I really felt like this game was some sort of Dark Souls… I then switched to full defense mode at some point: Lots of summons and shields so that I can focus on dodging. This was fine most of the time, even though I had to retry a few fights. (As mentioned before… Motionally challenged. :D)

Summary
I can still recommend this game, even though I am disappointed at not being able to play the true ending myself.
It‘s still a cute RPG and it can be a bit grindy, if you‘re up for it.

This game was played on a Steam Deck.

Disclaimer: Ignore my play time please, I‘ve played (and fully finished) this game before on a Nintendo Switch. I am just going through my 2nd playthrough on the Steam Deck this time, because, spoiler, it‘s a great game.

Positive / Neutral / Negative
+ Great Story, Great Soundtrack, Great Graphics
+ Job System is fun!
+ A lot of QoL improvements to the first part of the series
+ Likeable and hateable characters, which sometimes make your blood boil

o Getting the right Path Actions for the correct time can be a hit and miss sometimes.
o After playing OT:COTC, I wish there was an auto battle feature for trash mobs. :‘D
o If you‘re a completionist, you can be very busy in this game to grind all achievements and get all the items.

- It‘s a bit annoying to not level all characters at the same time, especially when you need them all later for the endgame.

Visuals / Audio
The Octopath Series is so great. The graphics are great to look at and the soundtrack is absolutely astonishing.

If you‘re coming from Octopath 1 you will get the same vibe in this game but there‘s a ton of new soundtracks to discover. (Personally, I think the music in OT1 is a tid bit better, but that‘s because it has a few of my favorites in there.)
This game is also voiced and the (English) voice actors are doing a great job! It‘s definitely worth tuning up the volume in this game!

The graphics are simply stunning. The characters and sprites are very lovable to look at and the contrast with the 3D-ish background just gives it a very unique feeling, which isn‘t feeling odd though! The worlds were designed with much care and almost (?) each map has certain hidden paths where you can discover treasure chests, just like in OT1. Sometimes finding these hidden paths was more difficult than I imagined at first. It‘s part of the fun though!

Gameplay
It‘s a typical JRPG.
Select one of the 8 characters, follow their story, explore maps, open treasure chests, battle enemies, meet the other travelers and build a party to save the world…
Very much cliche but this game sometimes puts it on another level.

The story telling is very good and some NPCs got me angry me more than once… Crick… You will always be in my heart. :‘(
The side stories are also entertaining and it‘s fun trying to find the correct solution to solve their problems by using the path actions.

If you are one of the people who doesn‘t like watching/reading the story, you can also simply skip them. Some games could really learn from this… (Why you would do this on your first playthrough though is beyond me. The story is really good!)

Performance
It runs perfect on the Steam Deck. One could think it has been designed to run on a console… Oh, wait.

Summary
I am glad this game was made available for Steam because it‘s a great game if you like JRPGs, especially if you like the „oldschool“ types.
I can sink many many hours into this series. One big aspect is the absolutely amazing soundtrack and the highly appealing visuals.
So, if you‘ll excuse me. I need to work on my achievements, because this games deserves to be finished with 100% for a second time.

Played on a Steam Deck.

I really REALLY want to like this game but I just can’t…
It’s not because there is one thing I don’t like, but more a combination of different things..

But let’s start with this review.
Note: I wasn’t too far into the game storywise, so I will not nitpick on that.
And this is my first deckbuilding game - I think this game type may just not do it for me.

Positive / Neutral / Negative
+ The pixel sprites and environment are super cute!!
+ I like the general idea of having a Harvest Moon x Pokemon-like game
+ It‘s fun exploring and building!
+ You can modify the length of your ingame days

o Many workstations could make it difficult to keep an overview of where to craft what item
o Decks are totally luck based im combat. I wasn’t really aware of that. It can make fights unnecessarily hard.

- When fighting spirits there is no chance to see if you already have the particular spirit „caught“ or not
- No filters inside the craft stations to see which items are craftable
- NPCs appear wayyy too friendly for just half a heart. They were already giving me cutesy nicknames, or telling me straight up that I am cute. (This felt really uncomfortable for me…)
- My spirits are basically always standing in my way…
- The aim of my action suddenly switched mid motion. In one moment I was trying to cut down the big tree next to me, then midmotion I am cutting the sapling, which is way far off. Why though…?
- Severe stuttering on Steam Deck

Visuals/Audio
I mentioned before that I love the graphics. They are very cute.
There are even full screen pictures (like when sleeping and you see the cute protagonist on their desk! … or when you’re dying and are being picked up 🥹).
So you definitely got me with the graphics!
The different spirits are also cute and there are a lot of variations available. (I think 90+ in the base game)
The soundtrack is fine in my opinion. Some songs stopped midway but I think I saw a setting to loop songs. I didn’t turn that on though.

Gameplay
Okay, so. My big issue number 1 is part of the gameplay. You may have noticed my long list of negative points. They are not „irrelevant“ but they just do not weigh as much as Gameplay and Performance.
And I think the Gameplay part may be partially on me, as Moonstone Island is the first deckbuilding game I‘ve played. And I noticed… I don’t like it.

It adds an annoying randomizing factor to the battles. This can be both good and bad. But the bigger the deck gets, the rarer the necessary cards (for your current action) become. This is definitely something to keep in mind!
Yes, you can remove cards, but for that you need to find the games or buy them from the … eh… wandering guy. Sorry, forgot their name. (Or switch out spirits, which makes you more vulnerable.)
I even tried to adjust the battles to easy but besides having the randomizing component, you need to find spirits in your range first that you can battle.
At some point I think I either messed up my game or I was too stupid for this genre of game. I kept dying. Every. Annoying. Day. (Trying to find enemies in my range, but I only found enemies 3+ levels over me and they kicked my fluffy butt. Alternatively I found enemies so far below my own level that they did not yield any valuable experience at all.)
And this altogether got me soooo frustrated.

Performance
My big issue number 2.
As mentioned earlier, I‘ve played on a Steam Deck. (I only play on my Steam Deck.)
This game stutters so much that I was close to tear my hair out. I even felt like a slight nausea at the first 10 minutes (after the tutorial) on the world map. This is particularly the case when running. But the alternative would be walking in snail tempo, which still resulted in stuttering and FPS drops, if not at the same frequency…I don’t like snailing my way forward though…

This is really crazy. I played much more demanding games on my Steam Deck with no stuttering or lags. I don’t understand ehy the performance is this bad for a pixel game. Yes the map is huge, but that still doesn’t justify it.

Summary
I would love to give this game a neutral rating but Steam has none…
My big 2 negative points are kind of forcing me to rate this game negative. For now.
Maybe I will try it out once more in the future, and if my opinion changes, I will of course update my review as well! (I hope the performance issues on Steam Deck are gone until then…)

If you enjoy all three categories (Life-/ Farmsim, Monster Collector, Deckbuilding) and play on a PC then maybe this game is for you!
I personally still think the full price is a bit too high, so I’d advice to grab it on a sale.

This game was played from start to finish on a Steam Deck.

----

I played Dragon Quest Builders (1) on the Nintendo Switch in the past and I sank way too many hours into that game. I was kinda burned out after playing the first part though, so I never got around to finish the 2nd part on the Switch.

Fast forward to now, I attempted to finish this game once more and it was so much fun this time! With a few exceptions, which I will get to in a bit.

I'll try to keep this review mostly spoiler-free.

Gameplay
The gameplay itself hasn't improved that much in comparison to the first part, if I recall correctly. They added a lot of new tools and a few new mechanics though.
(For people unaware of part 1: You can build, destroy, fight, craft items, talk to (and recruit) people, use monsters (ride them, or use them to destroy or change things) and even breed pets. (Last one is limited to cats and dogs, I think)

I don't know why but I tend to mix up the buttons all the time, even after playing 20+ hours.
They never stuck with me. I think because subconsciously I still had the Switch layout engraved in my brain. :'D
That doesn't make it bad though. It's just a 'me' problem.

There were a few 'difficulties' I've noticed with the gameplay though. (I wouldn't fully cross out another 'me' problem though xD)
My main issue was with the normal Confirm/Interact button. (A)
- People running into me, and instead of triggering the Item, I talked to them. ("Why did you have to go there???")
- Depending on how my character was standing, the window didn't pop up to interact with the item. This could be annoying after building up a small tower to 'check' items up high (on the shores) and then accidentally falling down because I had to adjust myself so many times until that stupid '(A) - Check' interaction appeared.
The positioning itself was also an issue when I tried to mount my monsters. I often only had the talk option, but not the riding option. Especially when I was standing on a cliff. I think the space was too narrow to perform the action?

Something that annoyed the hell out of me was the monologues to/in Malroths Mind. You weren't able to skip them if you read the text. It was time boxed. And I had to wait, and wait, and wait, even though I read it like 3 times already. So annoying.

Story
The story itself was entertaining. Nothing too difficult, but it still kept me going.
There was an overarching story, but it was split in several parts. (Or islands)
You usually always come back to your base island and can build to your hearts content.

I was kinda torn with the main characters though. On the one hand, I LOVED Malroth. He is so funny. And kept saving me from the monsters when I was busy building. Absolutely the best boy ever!! And I fully devote myself to build the best kingdom for him there ever was!! I would even offer my last shirt for him!! So if anyone dares to hurt him, they will have to suffer my wrath!
On the other hand... someone please hand me a knife so that I can get rid of Lulu. The audacity of this girl... I just can't. She didn't really contribute to anything at all. The only thing she did was force me to build stuff, trying to steal my Island for her 'Lulutopia' (whenever I read this word now, I get anger issues) and "oh I know the best locations for stuff we can build". No girl, I want to decide the best location. Don't tell me where to build MY stuff on MY island! /RageEnd

Visuals/Audio
I think they upped their game, compared to the first version.
There are lot more tiles, blocks and decorations than before if I recall correctly. A lot of variation. You can dye certain blocks, have several crafting stations. Some items are only available at a specific crafting station for example.

The graphics itself were quite cute. And of course, they have a very specific design as the characters were designed by Akira Toriyama. (RIP...)
I had some flashbacks to my childhood when I was still watching Dragon Ball.

The soundtrack wasn't a masterpiece, but it wasn't annoying either. There were a lot of repetitions, but it was fine. I think if you play more than 150+ hours it can be a bit tedious.

Performance
As mentioned before, I played this on Steam Deck.
It was running fine most of the time. Sometimes I noticed a bit of a tiny lag, but it wasn't severe.
There is kind of a memory leak issue in this game though, when you just put it to sleep and then resume. Rinse and repeat.
This game requires a restart sometimes! (Not every time it was put to sleep though.)
The effects were:
- missing text lines in chat boxes (mostly the last line was just cut off)
- missing text for the interaction boxes that appear (they were just empty)
- missing text on the Isle of Awakening for the island tablet goals that are shown on the lower right of the screen when progress has been made.

Summary
I liked it. Once again, I sank a lot of hours into this game.
This is definitely recommended if you enjoy building, smashing up things (and monsters) and like a lightweight story.

If you are not sure if you like it, check out the Jumbo Demo!! It's great to get a good feeling if you may like it or not. The demo is really huge and covers the first full island!

Ara Fell is a short but well developed game about a girl that needs to save the world but doesn’t actually want to. I played this on steamdeck from start to end.

I pretty much enjoyed the 20 hours I put into this game. I didn’t 100% it though.
Some things were quite outstanding for me, which were the characters, the pixel art and the humor in this game.

The characters with their behavior -in my opinion- were reasonable. At some point, I felt like I was part of their little group (even though the player is actively playing Lita) and really enjoyed the banter of the party! I liked the little interactions and I understood why they sometimes reacted the way they did. If I was in Litas shoes, I would definitely be overwhelmed.

Immediately after starting the game, I noticed the detail and love that must have been put into creating the sceneries and the sprites. A huge shoutout to all artists, designers and developers involved. The characters had so many different sprites that I was very surprised! I loved it, because usually you don’t see that much work put into pixel graphic games. (And I prefer pixel art over „realistic 3d graphics“ by miles! So I have seen my share of different designs and games in pixel art!)

The story was short, predictable and a bit dark. But overall I enjoyed that too. Although the ending felt a bit… weird? especially our two last remaining elves, that decide to reproduce on a whim. I was not expecting this at all. lol.
And I was kinda hoping to see at least a „to be continued“ in Ara Fell 2 :D I wanted to know more about the new continents!

The battle system was fine. At some point my Lita had 100% crit rate… That was fun!

Overall, I enjoyed the game. and on a site note: I don‘t understand why this game is only „playable“ on steamdeck. I don’t remember ever seeing a cursor. This game feels like it was made for the steamdeck!

I played Core Keeper together with my husband when 1.0 was released.

We had a lot of fun playing it together, and building our base.

I prefered the building and fishing part… the battles… not so much. I personally felt that the balancing was a bit off, especially when you ventured into new areas. I still tried to explore the areas but the dying part got me a bit annoyed at some point. Especially when you havent found the portals yet. (Later, I discovered that setting up a bed somewhere, will send you back there… so that helped a bit, until it got destroyed…)

Nevertheless, you can sink in many hours into this game. It’s well done. The story is a bit short in itself, but that’s not its main goal after all.

I am not sure if I would have enjoyed it as much playing solo as I had while playing co-op, but it’s definitely a great game and I recommend playing it.

Probably my personal Game of the Year.

I‘ve been looking forward to play Metaphor since I heard there was a „Fantasy Persona“ in the make.
I played through it twice to get all the trophies. For my first playthrough, I went in fully blind. No spoilers, No guides, Nothing. For my 2nd playthrough (new game+) I used a 100% guide to not miss any quests/ important items.
I‘ll try to keep this review spoiler free as much as possible.
Also. I played on Steamdeck from start to finish.

Story
Rating: 8/10
The story was different from anything I‘ve played before and I really liked it!
At some point midways the story felt a bit dragged, later it felt a bit too rushed.
I liked that it touched a lot of aspects that, unfortunately, still affect our daily life. Discriminations, fear of change, Rise of power, slavery. Just to name a few.

At some point, I accidentally gave the wrong answer and it was game over. This was far from the actual ending, so I was really surprised. 😅

The characters and social links were really interesting. It was nice to see them grow, face their fears and overcome the challenges together with our main character.
I really miss the romancing option in this game though!! I wanted to date Eupha so badly. She is such a cinnamon roll!!

Gameplay
Rating: 9/10
Gameplay was great! I liked that you were able to beat enemies in the overworld mode but still had the turn-based fights as well.

I LOVE the job system. It gives such a variety for party options and it also gives me some kind of retro feeling for the old Final Fantasy games. I am into retro games, so this was a big plus for me!

The timeline (aka calendar day to day basis) is probably not for everyone though and sometimes (especially when going in blind) was kind of challenging and overwhelming because there was so much to do each day but so little time!
I highly recommend using a guide if you have FOMO. 😬

As mentioned earlier, I played on steamdeck. stability was fine. It lagged a bit in some towns but that didn’t really affect my experience. ….
What DID affect me though, was that the game sometimes froze after getting back from sleep… it froze my whole steam deck and I had to reboot the whole console. This got better after some game updates but still occasionally happened. I am grateful this game has auto saves!
As this is probably fixed in a few patches and I didn’t really lose much due to auto saves, I will not let this affect my rating.

Visuals/Audio
Rating: 8/10
I have to admit that I am not a big fan of the music in Metaphor. It had some nice pieces but if I had to give it a rating the music would be a 5 for me personally. I always had the feeling that persona (comparing with it) games had solid but very catchy music. The one in metaphor wasn’t to my liking. There are other games out there with much MUCH better music. (Ori and the blind forest or Xenoblade Chronicles for example) So my definition of great soundtrack may be a bit warped as well ;)

The sound effects and menu sounds were very Atlus/Persona style like. I always liked the clean clicky sounds. I don’t know why but they always stand out for me and it feels very satisfying switching through the menus, especially if done quickly. 😊

The visuals were very nice! Menus are fast, nice and clean. The game graphics itself not too realistic (I personally hate realistic styles because it gets outdated so fast and just eats up resources on my device and is often very laggy or looks unreal) and up to my style. I loved the character artwork, especially when the characters talk! I love watching them blink and talk. Also, this is something I always appreciated in Persona games.

Achievements
Rating: none
I‘ve attained the Platinum Trophy today. It was fun but it’s a bit sad that you need the New Game+ to get all Trophies. I kinda understand why they did it but most occasional gamers will probably skip it. It took me around 130 hours to get it. (This can be done faster! If I would’ve taken a guide for my first playthrough, I wouldn’t have had to play another 40h for my 2nd playthrough!)
I had an issue with getting one achievement (sword surfer) which seems to be highly buggy, at least according to several reddit posts I found. This was the only Achievement I had to get on my PC because it would not trigger on my Steamdeck. Seems to be not only a steamdeck but console issue in general…

Summary
I loved it!
If you liked Persona in the past and like some Fantasy games, give this game a try! It also has a demo, so it’s worth checking it out!!
