This is one of the most artistic games I've played. It feels like you are moving through impressionist paintings, while you engage your mind with the challenging puzzles. I would recommend this, especially to my non-gamer friends. It really expands the gaming genre closer to that of "art".

This game is everything i've every wanted out of a 4x. I've tried to get into 4x strategy games before, like civ 4, or galactic civilization 2. The closest I've ever gotten was Sins of solar empire, and even that was techinically an RTS. Endless legend however really nails the happy medium for me between incredibly deep/intricate gameplay, and ease of access for newcomers.
What's even better are asymmetrical factions. They play completely different from each other, instead of different flavors of the same meal. I won't go into detail about how the factions are different from each other, because there are some many other game review sites that do it better than i can.
Just buy the game. You'll enjoy the time you spend with it, i promise.
