The cases just make me mad. The game tells you it's not a realistic detective game from the beginning as a cop out, so that it doesn't have to answer for it's own issues.

You're not really given much of anything that a real investigator would be given heading into a crime scene, as far as evidence goes. If you're looking for a game where you're actually piecing together a realistic crime with evidence, this isn't a great representation of that.

If you're looking for an interactive brain teaser that is crime scene themed, you might like it.

the value here is insane, if you're debating picking this up in a few years once it goes on sale, do yourself a favor and just buy it now to support the team.

What an incredible game.

I wouldn't listen to the people throwing a fit about the developer going missing. Some of these reviewers have 5 hours in the game. Weird things have been happening in this town, so one missing game developer isn't too abnormal.

At first I was turned off slightly by the "cluttered" look of the game, but I think that ends up giving the game a lot of character as sort of an 80's themed adventure game. As a full package, game is truly unique. It's a tribute of sorts to Ito's style and themes, as well as vintage adventure games and RPGs.

It has great replay value, mainly due to the knowledge curve. Once you gain a solid foundation of game-knowledge, things really start to change in the game. Experimentation is key.

For the price I think it's worth picking up for sure. If you like horror (specifically body horror, and anything Junji Ito) I think you'll get enjoyment out of this one.

If you enjoy a challenging turn-based RPG with a truly interesting story, you should play this game. There are some shaky parts of the game that get slightly tedious, but as a whole this game was excellent and extremely fun to play.
