In the ARPG world there is Diablo and path of Exile but there also is no contest between the 2. Diablo 4 is at the end shallow and dry while POE offers so much more depth, interesting build possibilities, mechanics, loot and so on.

Game over Diablo, it has lost its way long ago.

Gray, dull, more gray and some brown, shallow, boring, uninteresting, tedious. So yeah.....I really cant recommend this, which is a shame because I wanted to like this, but no, wasnt meant to be.

A little bit longer explanation:
Gray and brown = the game is just different shades of gray
Dull = the colour palette alone is dull and character and weapon skins are....dull.
Boring = you really dont care what happens to any of the characters.
Tedious = inventory management is the worst.
Shallow = Skill / paragon trees are not really the kind people expect these days. Just boring to slog through.

Your milage may vary but irrespective of my opinion we all pretty much know this game wont go down in history as one of the greats.

A better experience than New World thats for sure. If you invest time in a game, this wont leave you feeling disappointed in your life. Yes there are queues, but the gameplay loop is solid with a lot of horizontal and vertical activities to keep you entertained.

I dont know what to say really, its "ok" I guess but really nothing to write home about. Looks nice graphics wise but combat is clunky, somewhat tedious, lacks punch. Character builds early on at least are shallow compared to other games. Quests are a chore with no mounts. Yes there is fast travel but still there is a lot of running around, a lot. Maybe this will evolve into something that keeps players engaged but currently i dont see myself playing for too long.

Edit: Having played a bit more I can say that the most tedious part of the game is the walking. Walking, travelling, quests are miles away. I logged in, saw where my quests were and logged out. Maybe its me, old and tired but the travelling isnt fun.

The good same old Borderlands. Cant go wrong with this one.

Just looking at the trailer = another scummy game. Quickly pieced together to grab a quick buck. Avoid!

Its an assassins creed game. For the past 4-5years it has and probably will continue to be more of the same.
You sneak, you climb, you do a bit of fighting. Lovely looking game, tedious grinding....and just more of the same.
Is it a good thing, or a bad thing.....?

Ticks the boxes, but ticks them about 10 years too late. Generic, very generic.
Nothing inherently wrong, but there isnt anything here that you havent seen before.

Aesthetically a nice looking game, nice atmosphere, easy to listen to soundtrack...and thats it.
You take those away and you are left with a very generic cover based shooter which is mostly just repeating the same motions over and over again. No real variety adn slogging through the main quest becomes a real chore.

Id suggest wait for it to be on sale before giving it a go.
