It's just Oblivion with a new coat of paint. And Oblivion is a great game so this is a great game too. Pricing feels pretty decent compared to this trend of $70 and $80 games too. The question of whether to buy this or the original will honestly come down to your personal feelings on UE5; I'm not huge on how taxing UE5 is but I'm getting a "playable" 40fps at 1440p native on a 7800x3d and 6700XT.

Why do we all have to have these ridiculous milkers?

Probably really cool if you join a big server or buy a server. Otherwise, it's an absolute nightmare to set your own dedicated server up. I have plenty of experience doing it for other games, had my port range properly forwarded, dedicated IP set; having a client and server on the same machine means you have to set the client's port to something different than the server's port, then you have to restart the thing 15 times to get the client to connect, and finally my friend couldn't connect to the server because of an "Epic connect no join code" error, of which there's absolutely no documentation for a fix online.

Pretty dope. Lost a bit of the slavjank charm, fell prey to the Bethesda "every npc has to have a voice" school of RPG design, and tends to frontload annoying enemies like Bloodsuckers and Poltergeists as a "remember me?" thing, but all in all it's more Stalker. If you're Stalkered out of the first three, this one's probably worth a pickup.

I live in a similar area and the game feels eerily familiar at times. It mostly gets the best parts of working on carbureted cars, but I can't call it "realistic" because 99% of working on cars, especially in a place that gets a lot of snow, is unsticking rusty bolts. I'm not sure I want to play a game where I spend three hours hammering on a frozen bolt because my arm is lifting and twisted at a weird angle to the point where it's tiring to hold up a starter that weighs less than ten pounds.

It's not quite the original, which is funny because the original is a fairly middling game elevated only by the fact you get to play a smash captain, but it's still a good time. This game trades the balanced, linear campaign and mix of gunplay and melee for a hub based mission framework and a more intricate melee system, at the expense of pacing and the shooting. The shooting is serviceable but the different varieties of bolt rifle are fairly underwhelming, as are the melta weapons. The only standout guns are the snipers for their big headshot damage and the plasma weapons for being able to deal effective damage with charged shots. This is a game you play to get in the thick of things. The operations are fun little bite sized chunks that were probably taken out of the main campaign, but are fun nonetheless. The PvP mode is excellent, if a bit desync-y.

Just get it.

They kinda just turned it into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ MMO. Too many goofy changes like NPCs and shops and safe zones and world events. I just want an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sandbox, not a gimped version of the Wildy

THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥' GAME IS HARD but I love it. They made Powder Game into a dungeon crawling roguelite. Wizard ♥♥♥♥!
