Does NOT run well on LInux and Denuvo anti-tamper locked me out because I tried too many Proton versions. Couldn't even get to the main menu and now I don't get to try all Saturday.

Edit: Locked out again! This time, I'm pretty sure for changing launch options. If you haven't already spent money on this and you don't want to play on Windows, don't bother with it. I love Monster Hunter -- what a letdown. Hopefully they fix it some day, but I don't really believe in Capcom very much.

Edit 2: I really want to like this game, but even after bending over backwards to get it to run in Linux, I will still get stutters so bad that I get disconnected from multiplayer and I STILL GET DENUVO LOCKED if I run the game too many times in a day.

Edit: In another move that's wildly anti-consumer, there is a requirement that you have a PSN account. They disabled that feature at launch and now, months later, have arbitrarily reinstated that requirement. So if you bought the game in the past few months and haven't been following their press releases, you are probably outside the refund window!

If I want to play this game again, I need to give personal information to Sony, a company that has famously leaked the personal info of millions SEVERAL times.

-----

First off, this game is anti-consumer in its choice to add a second form of DRM by being always-online, as well as its regressive and invasive anti-cheat software. It is worth avoiding entirely for those two reasons alone.

This game can be a lot of fun with friends. It is not balanced for, nor is it usually fun with, teams smaller than four.

The gameplay is frustrating. Enemies spawn from anywhere, often inexplicably. The player doesn't collide well with the ground, so diving and going prone are frustrating under any sort of pressure.

The nail in the coffin for this game is its instability. This game is constantly crashing, freezing, disconnecting, and wiping mission progress. On higher difficulties, it is absolutely crushing to complete all the mission objectives, have the whole team crash during the escape, and get no credit for the mission whatsoever. This kind of issue happens often.

I don't even care about wrestling that much, but the game, its customization options, and its community are too good

It's the ideal sports game, in a way. There is nothing outside of the player's control.

On consoles, this was one of the most underrated games of the entire 7th generation. The PC port is even better, and it will hopefully finally reach its deserved status as a flawed masterpiece.

Nah, I think I'm set, Overkill. Can you just let me have my cosmetic mods and BLT back?

Seriously, it's $2.50 most of the time I see it. That's an unreasonably good deal if you compare hours played to pay per hour at minimum wage. It costs ~$.01 per hour before you know it.
