They had me at "roguelite puzzle game".

The less you know about Blue Prince going in the better. If you're a fan of title like Outer Wilds, where the game rewards you for throwing yourself at it and pushing its boundaries, you'll find a lot to like here.

Your standard LEGO videogame fare bookmarked by low-res scenes from the film. The puzzles felt less clunky than other LEGO titles and the fact that all of the voice actors from the film also did work for the game is pretty impressive.

Like always, a fun couch cop-op title to play with the kids.

The occasional jank, complete lack of a tutorial (that assumes you've played other LEGO games beforehand), and opaque puzzles don't combine for a super satisfying experience, but the game is terribly forgiving and works well to complete in couch co-op mode with a young companion. The kids loved it.

Pacific Drive is a fascinating blend of survival horror, sci-fi mystery, and roguelite gameplay. The bond you form with your jalopy station wagon as you explore an increasingly dangerous alternate-reality Pacific Northwest is unlike anything else I've experienced in a game. The game looks stellar at max 4K settings, to boot.

*minor spoilers ahead*

I enjoyed this title as much as the two previous installments. High production value, creative puzzles. I'm still torn about the change in design, where this game has you returning to a central location after each ~1/5th of the game. While in this central area it felt strange carrying around items that you don't *need* to solve the next puzzle, which is a pretty big departure from the game's typical formula.

I haven't gone back to play the alternate endings. Perhaps doing so would allow me to better understand these design decisions. These minor gripes aside, this is certainly a worthy entry into the Room series.

I was excited going into this title as the premise and visual style are both quite unique and off-beat. Seemed like my kind of game.

The gameplay loop is unlike anything else I've played and there's something to be said for that. This isn't a *bad* game. Unfortunately, the novelty of NUTS wears thin quickly and there's little else to prop this title up. I saw it through to its conclusion, knowing it was only 3-4 hours long, but I wish I could have my time and money back.

This game feels like the summit Quantic Dream has been striving for all these years. The Detroit they've painstakingly crafted in equal parts believable and terrifying. You manipulate the narrative from several fascinating angles, living some plot beats while soaking in others through environmental storytelling.

The voice acting and mocap are phenomenal. I can count on one hand the number of lined that didn't feel perfectly delivered.

The decision tree you're presented at the end of each scene is a stroke of genius, and made me want to immediately replay each chapter as it came to a close. One of the best games I've played this decade, and one i'll continue thinking about for a long time.

Minit's description, "a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time", is quite apt. It's a unique approach to an adventure game and considering the low cost and time to complete anyone with an interest in Zelda-like or Metroidvania titles should give this one a go.

We Were Here feels a little dated and rough around the edges, but it's perfectly playable on the Steam Deck and offers a fun asymmetric co-operative experience. I'm pumped to try the rest of the series!

The rare AAA gem, It Takes Two may be the best co-operative game I've ever played. The story is charming, the visuals impressive, but the polished and varied gameplay is the big selling point here.

It took 13 hours to complete the campaign and at no point during that 13 hours did things ever feel stale.

Props to EA for bringing this to market and being uncharacteristically pro-consumer in its friend pass model and (recent) ability to coordinate co-op play directly through Steam!
