The game is good, but I feel like the hype around it is a bit over done. Story is pretty cool, don't forget to read the note you receive DURING the final boss fight, otherwise you miss it. It's much easier than I expected. No performance issues or any gameplay glitches that I found. I just wish they didn't resort to "insert random trap" in areas you've traversed 50 times already after a certain point. Just makes you roll your eyes because it's like they were trying to find a reason for you to take damage.

If you're going to play this one, get it on deep discount. Unfortunately everyone is right about this being a let down after playing 1 and 2. This game doesn't fill the niche that either of its predecessors accel in and it's unfortunate. 3 simply made Lucius open world (devs plz stop forcing this) and took away all aspects of creativity for insanely simplistic click interact to proceed gameplay.

I didn't have major performance issues on my current rig, but considering I'm on a higher end setup, I would take this with a grain of salt next to other reviewers. The only bug I've encountered has been with Chapter 5, I've had to reload that instance quite a few times due to being stuck in place or the game just killing me and restarting the scene mid cutscene. That or a critical target is bugged in a wall and can't be interacted with.

Other than that, I can't say it's BAD, but this deserves a middle ground score of just MEH. If you're coming off the highs of 1 and 2 you'll be disappointed, but it's nice to finish the full story and see the references back to 1, including all the items you can't interact with that you used throughout the previous games >_>

Even worse, I can't say I've had fun playing this, I'm just doing this to finish the series.

I got 5 hours in on Playstation and couldn't stomach it, but figured it was just the general performance and preferring to shoot with M+KB so I grabbed it on sale here years later. I still find this to be boring as hell. Very generic open world gathering akin to Ubisoft titles and the gun play is just okay at best. The story within the 5 hours I know didn't hold my attention, but your mileage may vary.

As far as performance? I had no issues at all, but of course, this isn't deep enough into the game to experience the real hordes that others say makes this game amazing (over 20hrs in).

(I SWEAR IT'S AWESOME JUST GET TO SEASON 3!!!) is the general type of commentary I hear from fans of this title.

I like a good slow burn, but I could just play something I'm enjoying far sooner than later.

For $20 it's a solid souls like. I feel like people are treating this like some $60 production, which this is not. You will rely on parries the entire game and "spamming" can get you punished by some enemies and not others. The enemy variety and locales is limited, but again, $20 game. You get a nice package for the price and was able to try every plague weapon and found my clear faves pretty early on. (Hammer + Heal)

My 2 gripes with the game are as follows.

Feather mechanic - These counter critical strikes that are clearly labeled, but the timing on each enemy is so wildly varied that I couldn't make it work consistently, even on basic enemies I'd seen over and over. Luckily the skill tree has an alternative using dodge that's similar to a very useful skill in Sekiro and works far more consistently.

Big Red Boss Attacks - You can't dodge/parry/block these. You either hold that ♥♥♥♥ or run as far as you can and hope you're out of range. The thing is, these typically don't have a consistent activation or animation so that window you thought you had to attack after those parries suddenly turns into a "I can't run away fast enough" moment and you're eating about 225 dmg. The idea of these attacks is fine imo, but the implementation is wildly off in most bosses. Urd has a great version of this attack where the tell lasts long enough for you to react to the boss and the items placed around the arena.

Overall, it's not long as my 7hrs shows for all missions and no farming. If you're on the fence, just grab it on sale.

Highly recommend playing on Hard as an SMT fan. I don't have anything new to say that hasn't been said about this game, but enjoy it.

Atlus took the existing Persona formula for plot exposition, and applied it to a tale that doesn't revolve around high school, and I highly appreciate it.

You really have to question the folks that think this game is bad. They aren't to be trusted.

It's nuts

It's more of a 3d platformer than anything. Not similar to the likes of Goat Simulator in more than just humor.

The game is good. A solid entry and good horde shooter as expected in the Warhammer universe. I wish some of the story missions were available in operations as well for repeatability, but also the reasoning is that operations occur in tandem to the story. You play as the other squads on the other end of the battlefield instead of the leading role Tidus. The upgrade system is fine and the classes feel distinct.

Performance is fine on a 13700k / 3070ti at 1440p. No stutters or frame drops to speak of personally.

My only gripe is the occasional infinite "joining server" bug when connecting to other players. I'm not sure if it's a server issue or what, but I only have the issue during what most would consider prime time hours, so maybe that's the cause.
