I recommend this game if you like oldschool shooters that feel like quake1/quakeworld.

Expensive but fun. Shame netcode that is achieved through something like Fightcade for free costs me $70 AUD.

If you plan on playing this game online ever... good luck because even with ~50ms to your opponents the game will lag like all hell and runs at 5fps instead of 60. Even with 11ms it can jitter and lag.

Stick to local play if you want to enjoy this game or single play, if you're keen to stomp people online like you would expect in '24... Sorry. That just ain't happening.

Runs like trash on a 4090 + 7800X3D + 32GB. Should be optimised. No idea what it's like on PS5. Should just need some TLC.

This game is fun. Also there are servers in East Australia and it's FPS based so it works. A+++ would bulldog people in the face more.

Great game. Done over 40 hours on the Series X. Going to be pouring in alot of hours on PC now too. Will pay happily for more DLC and campaigns and levels for this game for years to come easily. Make it happen Cold Iron Studios!

Update: Still a great game! Sold the Series X as any sane person with a gamepass would do. Play the ♥♥♥♥ out of this with a friend or two if we can coordinate our clocks but otherwise I have been playing a map or three with other players online. The crossplay must be working well as I seem to get grouped with randoms who can still do their job quite often. The expansion pack is great DLC. Shame however that no other major story DLCs are out. I would personally welcome one every 6 months if it could be achieved!

good game. fun for people who like vertical mouse movements. is like if halo, destiny and portal all had a orgy and this ensued. netcode is excellent too.
