This game was my first introduction into roguelikes, which was a mistake...

Because I could simply never find another one to compare.

As someone that doesn't care much for story games (I don't have the patience), this game's core gameplay loop is extremely addicting. Although there is some element of RNG, you never feel as if you're being unfairly punished. The game rewards you for getting better, and there was no bigger feeling of satisfaction than beating the full run for the first time...

Until you realize that's just the tip of the iceberg.

There is so much depth to this game, and the variety of different playstyles gives it a whole additional layer that will have you coming back for more over and over. No two runs will ever feel the same, and the amount of dopamine you get when you get a GOD build will have you craving for more.

One last thing - play this game with its music on. Nothing feels more epic than doing a run with the amazing OST keeping you going.

this game is like doing drugs. you'll be hesitant at first and feel overwhelmed at the beginning but once you get started, you will lose your life, all your friends, and sanity, because you need to do one more level in the mines....one more day of fishing...i just need to wait for my 6th coop to be built..

Simple mechanics and a linear story make this a great starter FPS story game for new gamers. Picked this up when I was first getting accustomed to singleplayer experiences. The story made my first playthrough enjoyable - characters i genuinely cared about, a simple to follow narrative, and most importantly, it was well paced. Never did I feel like the game was dragging along.

What makes this game so good, however, is its replayability. You could do countless runs with countless builds with an insurmountable amount of items. Since it's a PvE game, gun balancing is non-existent, which is perfect for this type of game. I had some of the most fun just grinding out the same bosses just to unlock the "perfect" gun, which is where most of the fun comes from once you've beaten the main story. Big number Go boom.

Overall, it'll be an enjoyable game for anybody, from the most casual noobs to the experienced gamers, there will be something for you to enjoy from this game.

Was having fun with the game, but constant crashing ruined the experience.

Shooting controls and mechanics were good on mouse and keyboard, but driving felt awkward.

Would recommend if it ran properly.

TF2 is an excellent game, with simple core mechanics and concepts. Many diverse characters with widely varying roles and playstyles make every class an exciting experience to play. This game is moderately difficult to pick up and the skill ceiling is quite high. I have around 900 total hours on this game and i'm only good enough for low tier competitive. To get good at this game requires a lot of time and effort put into it, and i've enjoyed every second (and dollar) i've spent on this game. But my favorite part of this game is the people. Although some can be cancerous, the select few people in this game that are kind hearted will really boost your day. I've met over 50 people that, just like me, love to play this amazing game. Overall, this game is one of a kind, and my personal favorite of all time.


(bonus: it runs on even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ computers; at rock bottom settings even my 10yr old laptop can run it at 40-50fps. My regular PC runs it at around 100-120 frames as well, so anyone can play this.)
