Fantastic little game. Great visuals and music.

IMO this is the real deal. While it does take inspirations from old FPS games, it is packed with personality and does its own thing. I'm pretty sure this will in turn become (and probably already is) a source of inspiration.

Short and free, this is a superb and poetic game, all in pixelart with an unusal setting. Delivers a relaxing experience along with a great soundtrack.

For 1€ you got 2 hours of exploration in an oppressive atmosphere. It's simple and well made.

Impressive to realize that Stainless Games have been able to improve their own formula almost twenty years after the original! Modern technology ofcourse does a lot to enhance the fun-by-chaos sandbox concept but it is still up to the player to invest him/herself in the game and generate the mayhem. This is were Carmageddon: Max Damage goes further and brings many new mechanics on the table for the player to use and abuse, especially in the form of new powerups.

Give this game a few hours to let yourself grasp its ways, then you'll be amazed by the havoc taking place before your eyes.

Finally the follow-up the Carmageddon series deserved. This installment is fun AND brutal. Offers both easy free roaming games and challenges. Also multiplayer mode!
The universe of the series is well expanded and some of the new vehicle designs are golden. Vehicles and tracks are nicely detailed and it's a good support for the crashes, deformations, and overal chaos, the trademark of the series. Peds are not forgotten and the game now comes with a ton of new powerups to maim them all in various gory ways.
Modding support will ensure this game stays lively for years to come and keep the community going.
Performance issues? Just lower the resolution and graphic quality settings. This game is all about its gameplay and fun, graphics don't matter. It never did ;)
