nice but underrated... is good tactical game, very detailed and cared for in the smallest details, the only flaw is that it is repetitive, monotonous, but many people like the genre so it is a matter of taste and opinion if you like it or not... recommended to those who like team death-match

SLOW but AMAZING :D

The graphics are great and well optimized, it runs great, but the gameplay is terrible and unbalanced... to understand what I mean: I UNINSTALLED THE GAME AFTER 24HRS OF PLAY BECAUSE AN ENEMY DIDN'T DIE AFTER A MISSILE LAUNCHED DIRECTLY IN THE FACE! also there are a whole series of stupidities that make the game unpleasant:

1. if you are not a sniper you surely die every 10-20 seconds
2. if you are an engineer and you create shelters no one covers you
3. if you are a doctor you most likely will not go to help the others
4. everything is confusing without a minimum of strategy
5. in Operations the prices are absurd and senseless, most likely for commercial interests
6. etc.

if you don't have a problem with problems, you will like it, but I do not recommend it

Highly-not-recommended! Its the usual mobile game, linear and flat, where almost everything is click here and click there, full of microtransactions... also absolutely banal and unrealistic in gameplay

Its a shame that these graphics and models and animations are wasted for such a lousy game, because the graphics are great, but the rest sucks

the DLC is of high quality, it lasts approximately between 2 and 3hr, the graphics are much improved compared to the base game, also the lights, models, surfaces, textures and every details, in the first part it gives an initial taste of what will then be the gameplay of Aliens Isolation... if you liked the base game this DLC will surely please you even if it is short

I played the first one a lot (Scource Engine by Valve), even if limited it was and is almost perfect... this second chapter has a lot of passion in development, it involves a lot... but Unreal Engine sucks, at any graphic level that is not high-ultra, so screw Unreal Engine, it ruined this game as well as many others!

but missing modding and have few bugs and inconsistencies:

• the statues around the mountain are sometimes superimposed on pre-existing special buildings
  
• it is not consistent that stone bridges can be built first rather than wooden ones (wooden constructions should be possible before stone ones, or at the same time)
  
• there are no wooden stairs
  
• missing the management of battles and armies on the surface is missing
  
  I hope this review is read by developers and gamers, why I also hope developers dont abandon this game, nothing stops them from picking it up where they left off (even years ago). fixing some bugs and adding modding tools and a Wiki about modding this game (even if the engine is not one of the usual ones), it would create a good community and maybe (probably) even make more people buy the game
  
  It could even become something like the ongoing development of RUST by Facepunch...

Its already very playable, if the DEMO wasnt limited (time-limited), it would be almost a complete game... I highly recommend trying it to anyone who likes building bases, managing resources and characters, and to those who like tower defense (because it has a component that partially implements it)

I tried to make myself like installing mods... but apparently half of them work badly (or don't work anymore) because of the last update (version 1.5 and above) and this is a problem in many games, either because modders don't wait for a stable version, or because developers can't establish (most of the time it's the developers' fault)... a stable version

the worst thing in JA3 is the graphics... of the characters (in JA 1 and 2 even with worse graphics it gave you the feeling of a mercenary, now it gives the feeling of fluff), of the menu and especially of the maps... confusing, it feels like plastic and cardboard, you can't distinguish the elements well, and the maps are skimpy, too small. also the interactions with the surrounding world are limited to herbs, objects, and mini-cutscenes

also it has the system of activation of the mods... the worst I have ever seen (and I have seen many)

the "flavor" of JA series has completely (or almost) disappeared, in JA3 I do not feel the feeling that I had in JA 1 and 2, everything is funnier, poorly implemented, for children

I limited myself to playing the initial island, and after the last bug (probably due to a mod, I do not know which, but I do not blame the modders) I uninstalled it and I think I will never play it again

COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED, NOT RECOMMENDED
