A general objective improvement of the first game. Though I enjoyed the world building and story progression of the first game, this game is still a satisfying story and gives the side characters more personality/interaction with the world. As well as letting the protagonist speak.

If you enjoyed Ender Lilies, you will enjoy Ender Magnolia. A direct continuation of the previous' game story but years later in a place not too far away from the land of rain.

If you haven't played Ender Lilies you should do that before getting this game for understanding story references tied to that game.

A solid metroidvania game with a satisfying pacing and mostly comfy combat. Plenty of options to swap around for your loadout. A total of 10 base 'weapons' with 3 different attacks each. Whether you like counter mechanics or automatic attacks and a bunch of stuff in-between. The places are varied but coherent with the steampunk setting of Ender Magnolia.

You definitely feel like Robocop. You're slow, durable and blasts people with impunity with your trusted AUTO-9

I didn't expect the amount of optional stuff that added dialogue choices to stuff to do while in an area, mostly in the urban part of Detroit. Stuff that becomes relevant for the end screen content if you see them through and what choices you make in them. There's even some dialogue options that appears if you have the required stats. For instance, during a bank heist there was a bomb on one of the hostages. Since I had 4 points in Armor I could use the option to tear off the bomb and hug it away from the hostage until the bomb exploded.

You will mostly walk around with Robocop's iconic pistol. However, as you explore and progress the story you get different motherboards for it. These are gridlike pipe connected bonuses you gotta assemble together. Some of these motherboards can turn your gun into basically an uzi or magnum, depending on which motherboard and what perks inside of them you unlock. It's pretty fun and you can easily swap between the motherboards if you wanna experiment. Though some are clearly stronger than others, a result of progressing in the game giving some nutty versions later on compared to the early variants.

I had a couple of crashes in the game with no consistent reason that I could figure out. The autosaving was decent enough that I didn't have to re-do too long segments. This could happen while I was idling/tabbed out, in the middle of a cutscene or walking around.

The game isn't difficult, even on higher difficulties. A pretty relaxing experience and the progress system makes you really strong (Health tree is a scam btw, go for Armor if you feel you're taking too much of a beating). Healing is limited but you can always regen back up to 20% of your health if you can get behind some cover.

It was fun and anyone who thinks Alex Murphy is a cool guy will enjoy the game. A pretty simple first person shooter but one that feels like a lot of love for the IP and the game itself was put into. The base price is a bit steep for my liking for what the game is. But it goes frequently on sale. If you can catch it for 30 bucks or below I think you're getting your moneys worth.

An improvement in all aspects of the prequel aka gow2018. Thought the game still suffers from "camera too zoomed in making multiple enemies ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fighting experiences" (especially with how extremely unforgiving the game is to taking a single yellow or red attack on higher difficulties that can come off-screen with garbage indicators) the story and adventure still makes it worth to experience.

This was a great story told in 2 parts about family and what it means to be a parent with a scarred past. I look forward to see where Santa Monica will take the God of War series next now that Kratos finally has been given his well earned retirement.

Great, striking art style.

Maps are generally fun. The ability to destroying certain walls and constructions is an amazing flavor and also gameplay changing (the buildings to auto repair after a certain time).

Character balance is subjective. But nothing feels obviously egregious at the time. There are some clear pubstompers like Iron Fist however. Who knows what future balance patches and characters will do?

All characters are free forever. Big W.

A lot of love and details has been put into the game. Things like each character having their own signature on their logo (Moon Knight lets all 3 of his personalities write their signature, Groot draws a smiley face since he can't write or read, Black Panther writes in Wakandian etc.)

The battle pass is like in Helldivers 2 where you can "complete it whenever without time restraints". Aka the healthiest type of battlepass. This seems to be the main revenue source other than skins. But they're fairly cheap at 5 bucks at the time and gives you some carrot to do your daily quests (Which are really simple and general so you wont' be pigeon holed too much).

All skins so far are references to previous iterations of the characters. Even having a quote from the source they came from showing where they originate. There are a few 'original' skins that first arrived with Marvel Rivals (So far the only one I'm aware of is one of Captain America's skins). The skins are definitely pricey but honestly a lot of them has some pretty good details/difference from the default ones (recolors DO exist).

And it's free to play, by the way.

My biggest concern is this all seems way, way too good to be true. When will the catch happen? This feels like how games were made in the 2000-2010 era. Just a solid, fun product right off the bat.

Anyways, welcome back Overwatch. You're finally fun again.

Peak Warhammer experience. Campaign on the shorter end (12-15 hours maybe? I was afk a bunch and played some of the PvE mood too) but the PvE mode (kinda like horde shooter a la Darktide) and PvP mode gives the game more longevity depending on your tastes.

Unfortunately it suffers from the exact same mistake they did with the first game. Lets you fight fun faction first (orks/tyranids) then makes the boring faction to fight the mainstay at the end of the story (Chaos Spacemarines).

Like seriously, ♥♥♥♥ the shielded tzaangors and termie's rocket spam that can clip through terrain you tried to use for cover.

Co-op is really great fun too. Both campaign and the pve mode. It's a good 3rd person hack'n'slash.

Hotline Miami 3 came in 3D and does the rapid-killing-and-get-killed gameplay well. I just wish there were checkpoints, I understand they didnt put them in because of their speedrun challenges.

The bosses are unfortunately, incredibly easy. Bit of a whiplash after coming freshly out of Elden Ring's DLC content.

The game isnt worth it full price if you're a "single playthrough" andy like me

But if you go for what the game was designed for, which is redoing levels to complete all the challenges (a variations of using specific shoes, speedruns, dont get hit, only use kill with feet, etc) you'll get your moneys worth.

Worth it at a larger discount (I got it for 10€/50% off)

A game with a quick to learn combat system that puts emphasis on spacial awareness, environment and a calm mind. You're a duelist in a brawler, you're at your best when singling out enemies but they come in waves (finite amount per room) and the AI is intentionally coded to be disruptive to not let you easily try and rush down one guy at the time. Whether it's synchronizing attacks or doing different ones (essentially there's blue and red attacks. Blue can be parried, red ones must be dodged).

The game is lighthearted from its colorful and soft visuals, lively background music and silly dialogue.

Where it falls short from being worth 20 bucks is the length of the game. 3 hours gets you from start to finish, not including hunting down secrets or doing challenges. There's a "Arena mode" for those that wants to enjoy the combat a bit more after the story (replayable) with different degrees of difficulty. If the game had 3-4 more episodes of hijinks introducing another 2-3 new enemies over that span, I think it'd be worth full price.

After almost a year since release. With the roller coaster of ups and downs. From gamedesign choices to publisher drama, the game is in a very good state right now. So the thumbs up returns.

It was good, gives a few variations of a new ending not involving the Arasaka Tower. The new area is just big enough to not feel small. The new skill tree upgrades are fun and are meant to be "ultimate" upgrades for your arm replacements (gorilla arms, mantis blade, monowire, rocket launcher).

It's not an essential DLC to enjoy Cyberpunk, but it adds a good story and warrants another playthrough if you have beat the game and wonder if this DLC would be enough for another go (the game lets you start at the DLC straight away with a leveled up V with some matching gear to go right at it)

A bit short (only 3 worlds) but then I remembered the game was 6 bucks so its fine.

I didnt play Necrosmith 1 so I can't compare what they've improved on.

Assembling your army of dead is a lot of fun, legs, arms, head and body. As you progress through the worlds you get access to stronger monsters to piece together with.

The game loop is collect body parts and mana, then build your initial dudes with what you got and then as soon as possible create your titan, which is a giant minion featuring the most health and damage you can possibly create. But even your titans will eventually need improvement on later stages. And you get new titan parts by defeating boss waves, which spawns when the timer goes down to 0 and then resets.

how to win the game is exploring the current world until you find the objective. Which takes the form of a much tougher base (bases spawn enemies during daytime) than the ones you're used to. There's no real rush to get to it once you find it, especially if you find it early. But the game will kill you after a certain amount of time by spawning an unkillable enemy (so you need some tempo, and also puts a limit on how much you can grind one map for a single run).

The graphics are very charming and upgrading your meta progression is very rewarding. Both in power and in appearance as the apparatus representing the upgrade gets noticeable changes each time.

There's a bit of RTS skill involved in this game. You can pause whenever luckily to micro manage things (defending your tower with spells while you are controlling one of your dead exploring the map and destroying bases with it). As the tower can explode really fast on World 3 if you don't have proper guards. Otherwise the game is a bit of an auto game. Other than directly controlling one minion you have preset behaviours such as "Go destroy bases", "Go destroy enemies", "Guard the area you're currently in", "Guard the tower" and "Collect resources".

Storywise, its not a game that last very long as you can complete it as long as you get the higher tier damage (normally in the arms). I finished it still missing a lot of titan bits and a few missing upgrades and a lot of missing artefacts (equipment you can have up to 4 of that gives passive effects). Beating it with just the xeno arms on 2 titans.

A lot of fun and creativity and a nice distraction for like a week. I might play it some more just to see all the titan parts and what being fully upgraded is like. But I'm happy wrapping up Necrosmith 2 here and I'll pay attention to if any Necrosmith 3 will appear in the future.
