Has a fun and interactive atmosphere with a good amount of freedom to explore. Would recommend as a starter into the survival world.

Edit: After finishing the game, I would not recommend this for young people or for those that are afraid of water. Some of the stuff in deeper water or in other areas of the map is objectively nightmare inducing, especially if it catches you off guard.

The single player aspect of this game is awesome. It's Rockstar, that's what they're known for among other things in the game development scene. The online portion is an entirely different creature. To put it simply, if you don't have money you're not going to have fun. Granted, there are plenty of different ways to make money in this game, but after you play through a few missions it all seems to blend into the same thing. If you're a new player starting out or one who just hasn't played the game for a while I would suggest picking another title. Playing GTA in it's current state would resemble the likes of coming home from work only to go to your second job in the world of Los Santos, where the payouts are poor and the difficulty for the new "heists" are similar to the final boss battle of any singleplayer FPS game you've played before.

Badass gameplay with a badass bombshell. For the first time I felt attached to the protagonist as she goes through her quest to escape the mysterious island. I especially enjoyed the combat in this game and found it very satisfying to wallop your opponent with a final finishing blow to the head, really up close and personal-like. Would recommend for someone looking to try something new.
