I've been somewhat into Harry Potter with my 10 year old daughter. While not a HP superfan, the game immerses you into the world at an amazing level.

I've had the original Vive for a long time, and never thought it would be comfortable or fun to play through a traditional, "long form" type game in VR. (ie, something that wasn't just VR minigames) Alyx knocks it out of the park in terms of experiencing an amazing game world in VR, and systems design that make it playable for an hour or more at a time. I'm just about done with the game and will likely play through again. This is the type of game I bought by VR headset for, but sadly this is the only one that is good enough to get me to write a review. Overall it's an amazing VR experience that should not be missed.

I was expecting a very simple sandbox for early access. Turns out you get a nice UI, great music, and missions! Also impressed with the graphics and overall look of the game. Sure there are voxels, but there are also some impressive particle systems that have a better look and feel to them than some AAA games. Putting out fires with the extinguisher just feels "right". If this is early access, cant wait for the full release!

If you like the original, you will like this as well. I honestly have no problem paying for a more polished Spintires game with new maps and some new vehicles. I really hope the developer gets a better deal this time around than with the drama surrounding the last game.

A few things got some nice tweaks- Mud clumps to tires, the water effects looks really nice compared to the original, better interface, and some new vehicles. (I have not tried any of the new vehicles yet) Also the first map I'm on seems HUGE. While there are not any huge changes, overall it just has a more complete fit and finish than the original.

Not only is the weapon handling, presence, and overall execution amazing, the creator (Anton) seems like he's having such a good time making this game, you can't help but get caught up in it. A rare case where the game and the creator behind it are awesome!

I may never need another sandbox VR game. This one does it all. From stretching out basic shapes, to bulding cool mechanisms, to making shooting ranges...it's just fun and awesome.

A well executed cross between Minecraft and Space Engineers. Terrain deformation is awesome, and excavating an entire mountain to build your underground lair is super satisfying. Very good balance in regards to food, energy, and health needs. You will have a few plates spinning at all times. VERY good start to this game in regards to the basic framework and systems. It should only get better from here.

The initial learning curve is steep, once you make it through your trial by fire, this game is a blast. Crewing a ship with your friends is just awesome. Every role is important, and team work is a must in order to survive. Just a super fun game.

This is the most fully-featured 'Early Access Game' I've bought in a while. Everything you see in the trailers and videos is currently available in game. These are not 'here are the things we are planning' videos, but 'what you see is what you get.' Which, is surprsingly a lot.

Note that the devs stated they initially concentrated on game systems and content, and now feel they have enough to begin optimization and address frame rate issues. Given what they have accomplished so far, I have no reason to doubt that they will follow through on this.

If you can deal with some short-term frame rate issues, this looks to be the next entertaining survival game. Also, the dinosaurs are freakin awesome.

Bottom line, this game is FUN. It's OVER THE TOP explosion gunfire dangling from helicopters awesome. If you've ever wanted to ride on the back of an airborne jet fighter, fight and then toss out the pilot of a helicopter, leap from a bridge and parachute to the deck of a moving gunboat, or just go to a strip club in the sky, this is the game for you. Highly recommend! You WILL have a blast!
