Played this game nearly a decade since I first known about it (although watching LPs, I have never picked it up myself), and after forgetting most of the game, it is truly a masterpiece in story and gaming. What a perfect game to start my year with.

An amazing (not-so-cozy, can get quite stressful) game. Super fresh mechanics and addicting gameplay loop, coming from somebody who doesn’t typically reach for farming sims outside of Stardew or enjoys platformers. Kaimaru (the baby) is the GOAT. Its like Elden Ring where if something is too difficult you can just grind and come back to one-shot the enemy.

Cozy games are usually hit or miss for me, but this scratches an itch that I get from building in the sims, but a lot less commitment and sooo much more pretty :) really excited to see if more objects get added next! The rain and night settings are superbly cozy and stunning <3

I'm a straight teenage girl and I thought this game was a BLAST. The micromanaging and anxiety when you go into debt is so much fun. The game at the start is also pretty challenging and the coins serve as a nice incentive to keep playing even after it gets really easy to get money. The art style is really cute and I love the voice acting in this game. There's also no nudity which I appreciate but the transition screens can be a bit raunchy, but nothing too bad if you're looking for that.
