I could talk about how this game is a breath of fresh air, I could make meme's about how DEMOCRATIC this game is, crack some jokes or make something meme worthy, instead I'm going to be honest about what this game reminds me of.
If you remember playing L4D or L4D2 back in 2008-2010 time frame, the joy of getting four randoms to go and kill Zombie's for an hour while helping each other out, communicating and the joy of victory and the despair of defeat of an Expert level mission...Helldivers 2 brings back all of those memories. This has given me so many solid hours of gaming with random people from all around the world that I haven't experienced in 13-14 years.
It also has a hug emote, which is the best emote in a video game this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is quite honestly one of the better games of the past generation. No other game so mimics the feeling of being the super 1337 hacker at a party who simply walks into a room, causes everyone to fall over retching while saying, "No ONe knows I'm the best merc in all of night city."

But for real, This game is really solid for what it is. If you get it on sale for 30-40 bucks you won't be disapoitned.

TL;DR - Its a fun way to burn a few hours esp. if you are playing with a younger crowd.
What started out as a meme game ended up being more enjoyable than I would have thought. My daughter and I never once felt bored over the 4.2 hours it took us to beat the game. The main issue is that once I figured out that the "bug spray" was simply OP, encounters with Charles became pretty trivial outside of when we were caught far from the train. However, trying to balance the different weapons defintley made the game feel sorta like AC:3's ship sections, something entirely unexpected by ending up overshadowing the core game-play loop. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that the idea of being stuck to train track and managing weapons might actually be the best part of the game. Basing any future sequels around that idea would probably be to its benefit.

My advice to the developer would be to add the following:
Crazy Charles Mode - More frequent encounters with Charles
Ultra Hot Mode - Weapons overheat more frequently
Bells and Whistles - Summon Charles whenever you want via the Whistle
No Cult, More Choo - No Cultist, but charles can shrink and get into those areas

I defintely encourage the developer to learn and iterate from this game. I felt that 20 bucks was a bit steep (even though I did get four hours out of it) and felt it could've been better priced around 10-12 bucks, but overall it provided about two movies worth of entertainment for my daughter and I and I could not ask for more than that. 7/10 , grab this on sale when its around 10-12 bucks, anything below that and its a steal.

So I would like to point out I have never played baseball. I have had zero interest in the sport for most of my life. However, after watching a "Lets Play" of the 2nd game in the series and enjoying some of the strategy that goes into it, I decided to give it a chance. This is a seriousally fun game that you can learn as you go. I imagine for the die hard baseball fans this is probably the closet you will get for real baseball for a long time.
Also, you can hit a ball right into a pitcher or throw right into a batter. Extreme Pain is your friend in this.
Batting feels good, pitching feels good, just don't make stupid errors.
