What once was my entire childhood, is no longer even playable unless you spend some money on it.

I don't know HOW they managed to make it even more pay to win than whatever nexon managed in 2012, but that's seriously impressive.
Hopped on to play a game and relive a bit of nostalgia, tagged an opponent for 93 in 9 with an M6A2-SRT while he two tapped me with some loaded AK-47 and did 110 in 2.
Saw another guy jumping around with what looks to be something like 60%+ speed gear and a shotgun that fired faster than the M4 Super 90, would have been fine if the netcode for the game wasn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the first place, making the guy impossible to hit. Oh and if you hit them once, good luck, do that 7 more times since you only do 15 damage despite them having speed gear, apparently that's balanced.
Also, there is only like 5 games going on in total (if you're lucky)
Safe to say i won't be touching this game for a long time anymore.

There was a very promising fan-made remake of the pre-2010 version of the game, got to play for a few days and I've never been hit harder by nostalgia ever.
Sadly VALOFE also silenced everyone about the project, copyright claiming videos about the project, shutting down their discord server, forcing them to delete their website, and much more.
I might be clueless, but I wish VALOFE worked together with the development team from the fan-made game, and pushed out an actual classic version of the game, since VALOFE claimed they didn't have any older game files available when they released their classic version.

I think I speak for every single combat arms player from the 2008-2012 era that we want a proper remake of the game from around that time, in the past you could easily stand a chance if you were free to play, only if you spent 100+ on cases and gear you'd have an edge over someone, nowadays someone with a 0.3 k/dr would be able to buy some gear for around 20, and stomp lobbies with how stupidly overpowered they have become.

I'm just disappointed, there seems to be no community connection between the developers and the players, and the developers just throwing out newer and newer pay-to-win bundles, each being better than the previous, creating insane power creep.

I could keep going on about the history, positive changes, negative changes, nostalgia factors etc. but i'd drag this out for way too long.

CS:GO Review
Very great game and can be handled by even an under-budget pc on high settings, fun for all and the best part about the game is competitive play, you have ranks which improve as you improve, so you get ranked with the people from your skill level, and as your skill level improves, you improve your rank as well so you get higher ranked people as enemies and teammates. It's very cheap aswell and you can even make money with the game itself from the drops that you get after a game. It's not much but the game is very big and also has it's own community servers, has ongoing support from the creators and gets updated around every month with new skins for guns. There is no in game purchaseable content (except for the operation challenge coins) which give you an advantage over other people. Very fun game and I greatly recommend it!
