Very fun and quite short Game.

There is currently only one selectable dungeon (it feels like there should different dungeons to choose from but they arent added yet)

Items feel a bit op compared to level up abilitys as it was very easy for me to beat the game at level one with only useing items but its still very fun.

Can recomend for its low price and cant wait to see if it will get updates and expansions.

Small Edit right here just to say that im a massive Fairy tail fan as im currently buying all dvd/manga/manga massive and as you can see both games with the first one beeing way better while this one is a huge dissapointment.

Not worth the full price. Dont by it unless its on discount just like the first game even 20€ is still the max you should pay for a game like this. I cant believe that it took 4 years to put out a game that has worse graphics than games from 2016 hell it even looks worse then the previous games graphics. First game i played 4 times as longer than this as it had way more with guild upgrades and the grind to become NR.1 Guild again as well as a lot of side quests and side grind to do the s class trial for every character and respawning bosses since they where tided to the repeating S-Class side quests on the quest board.

-Little to no enemy diversity or npc diversity. Realy hope they bring back the quest board with a free dlc or update.

-Npc modles look as bad and repetetive as the previous game.

-Difficulty is way to weirdly balanced as i played on normal and still got one shot by way to many enemys (ai doesnt block, heal or swap to a character that has an elemental or "weapon/attack typ" advantage)

-Cant get max Fairy Gauge or what ever its called since everything dies before i get to the third bar even with the 60% boosters that ONLY last for 30 seconds meaning i cant get the achivement as well as the "use all extrem Skill" Achivements (Even at ragnarok difficulty everything dies to fast and im not even max level yet)

-Story just gets skiped at some points. For example we start right at the alvarez arc instead of tartaros where we left off in the previous game, even the fight of mirajane vs the two swords that got turned into humans was not playable.

-Even less playable characters then in the first game.

-No Quests we can repeat that have bosses at the end. Also NO BOSS RESPAWNS meaning you cant even try to farm the max fairy gauge achivement with them

-Cant lvl down characters to make the game harder

SPOILER FOR AFTER STORY

-It was just boring to just do "go to one point fight some enemys there, teleport to the other point fight one mob for 20 seconds then go back to where you came form, now repeat that for three more times.

-The Achnologia boss at the very end is a two easy phase boss with a third phase that just randomly charges a one hit team kill that i personally wasnt able to stop since you need to attack with a speciffic "weapon/attack type" to break because of what i previously stated about the ai just spamming the first equiped skill from what i noticed nad because im bad at the combat and i like the old one more as you controled all five party members instead of just one of three active members that can constantly be switched out mid battle.

-exploration is useless since there are alot of thing that are blocked of with "barricades and slightly higher jump" that you need to do story for to be able to get past, not to mention in the first two chapters i think plue "clones" and even later some notes will be introduced that are scatered around the map and you have to find them as they are hidden away. The searching isnt the bad part its the fact that every area has a few area bosses and once you kill one IT SHOWS EVERY PLUE/NOTE/CHEST THAT YOU CAN FIND IN A SERTAIN ARE OF THE MAP MEANING YOU DONT NEED TO EXPLORE BEFORE KILLING THEM. For what reason do they encourage exploring an "open world" with hidden items when people like me explore before getting to the next story point which made me over leveld and i killed the area bosses that i could reach so when i unlocked the plue clones i just had them all revealed on the map.

+The only possitive thing i see is the nice artworks we get sometimes in the story and character storys

Edit:

Comming back to this after playing and beating the second game in UNDER 15 Hours. All i can say is that this game has way more to do then the second game and i change my mind that the amount of stuff to do is enough to pay 30~40 $/€ for the first game.

Some + that come to mind (contains minor/big spoilers) that i have not mentioned before as i just wented my frustraion of these games:

+ We have a quest board that has side quests we can repeat (not in the second game)

+ We have the S-Class trials that we can grind untill all Characters are considored S-class (also not in the second game and it has less playable characters)

+ We have the Grind to become Nr.1 Guild again. (not in the second game for obvious reasons but could have mad a rebuild the guild hall/magnolia Grind)

+ We have a party of four or five (cant remember) that WE CONTROL (second game has a party of 3, we can only play one activelly as the other members are ai and just spam the first skill you have equpped insted of healing or blocking, we can switch to ANY playable charecter during battle but ai doesnt do that to get an advantage so you have to remember elemental and attack type weaknesses)

Also check out my review for the second game BEFORE YOU BUY IT AND NEVER BUY IT FOR 70 $/€ like me 20 is even to much for the second game.

Old Review:

Positive vote because its my fave anime but im honest with the downsides of my time playing the base game was since i dont own the rift in time and space dlc or the dlc characters so i can say anything about that other than i dont think extra characters are worth 20€ each.

I Played this when it came out and have 100% on it got every character to s-class and all stats to 9999 on all of them.

Combat was good but repetative and later you can clear the whole map with one battle (only the boss will remain if you do a mission) meaning you can use the ability to fight 3 rounds of enemys at the start of the map and then run thru to collect items and kill the boss. Also difficulty just gives enemys more hp and as far as i noticed made the fights drag on for no reason so its better to play on easy or normal if you dont enjoy the time it takes to kill bosses. Hub city is quite empty with repeating npcs to the point that if you stand correctly you can have 2 sets of 3 identical npcs in one frame and i dont remember doing anything in it other then talk to the other charachters to increase the affinity by one level (also bad that you have to change to every character and repeat the loop until your done wich probably takes a few hours if you dont skip thru it like me). Not to mention it crashed after 9 hours of play time on the first day and didnt have auto save (dont know if it has one right now) so save every chapeter change and if you realy want to be save after every time you exit the battle map. Other than the crash and lost play time i dont remeber any bugs.

Spoiler: This is after the story so if you didnt buy it then stop reading this part. The guildarts fight is or atleast was impossible on anything other than easy since you can only fight him with natsu in a 1v1 and guildarts has a water attack and in the combat stily if your hit or hit an enemy with a waekness attack then they are stunned for one turn meaning he can kill you with a minimum of 3 attacks while you can only hit him once or twice. Even on easy it was a drag.

Only got it since Fairy Tail is one of my Favorite anime and will buy the second game after or a week before chirstmas. Cant wait to see if they improved all this or made it into another quick cash grab. There is so much they could have improved on.

Edit: Forgot to mention its not worth its full price so get it when its on discount as 2 hours are not enought to get to the real point of where you can say if its to repetetive for you or not. but definetaly dont get it for 60€. i would say at most 20 is ok for it and even that is on the nice side.

Cute little Silvervale

575 hours later and still cute never mind seems like steam robbed me of 248 hours of "play time" but my stats are the same and Little Silvy is sitll cute

Edit 1: Officially 564 hours later and i got every achivement. Very fun thing to have running on my second monitor while i do my own stuff. Cant wait to see what the next update will bring.

Edit 2: 1289 Hours of having little silvy on my second monitor and im still enjoying it and still have no epic clothings since the update came out. Also if anyone sees this and want to give me money im selling my duplicates for 1€ (this is a joke dont give me your money)

Edit 3: I was curious and looked at some reviews and saw people say its spyware because it want to reinstall after they uninstalled but its just a setting that wants to open the game for you so you dont have to do it manualy and its on by default so it trys to open an unistaled game but cant and asks you to reinstal (also almost at 2k hours)
