This game steam recognizes as "active" even after shutting the game down. This has happened two different times now. I assume games that do this have ulterior motives.

I like the game. Felt is was worth the purchase at 25%.
The developer is a Chinese company with a history of produceing alot of indies game clones. Most being just replica trash.
The game lacks aloooot of polish, If there was an active developer with a passion and some more time this game would have the means to go further. Alot of design elements are questionable. On the flip side, there are alot of great feautres incorporated from the get go to reduce some grinding. Over all the time has been enjoyable. Player character moves a tad too slow unless you eat 5 mutated steaks.

Get the game if on sale. Enjoy it for a week or two with a friend. Or even by yourself would be fine.

Updated often
Every update has "Reasons" and excuses. Frequently displacing blame and motives.

Basicaly. Play an older version. Mod it.
Then you can play 7d2d

A great game. Active developer. Steay-Active, over years. Dev has incorporated many player desired changes, additions and balances. There is a venerable balance in the grinding of skills. It does not feel too slow or fast. The games difficulty is wholly dependant on the players action. You can play on easy or hard on the exact same save.
I personaly enjoy playing some min/max on my gear, planting, and exploreing new islands.
If you like a little grind, or leveling up, perhaps some mild to zealous adventureing, random generated islands-(well generated). The lore and end goal is fixed and on point.

Would recommend this for anyone except those well below certain iq threshholds.

There are also text, and video guide for those that are incapable of "figureing" anything out for themselves.
