Thanks for censoring a game I haven't played in 7 years and forgot about up until this day; sour reminder I won't ever buy a game from Autumn Games again.

Timed platforms suck, makes the game frustrating instead of fun, can't recommend.

The dialogue has so much humor, while at the same time, being so mature.
It's incredible how a VN about serving drinks can be so fun and addicting.
The characters can be cheesy sometimes, but they feel really unique and contribute to the atmosphere of a cyberpunk dystopia; I loved every single one of them, and that doesn't happen to me all that much; I use to not like some characters in vidya who might feel pretentious, but this game doesn't have a single one that I'd punch in the face.
Hell, I don't even make reviews anymore, and here I am, writing after a 100% completion with 558 minutes in session, with the intro scene looping.
Seriously tho, the only thing I have to hate about this game, is that it makes you go through it again if you didn't make the right decisions 'till the end (which is not that bad, to be honest, considering there is a lot of hidden dialogue and endings behind actions and such), and the other one is just for 100% completion, which is the stupid shoot 'em up mini-game, being this mediocre, frustrating 5 minute level about the same enemy, which is super spammy while you don't have i-frames or anything after you die. Pure pain, even when you cheese it like I did; it's just that bad.
Aside from that, this is a must-buy IMO, even if you don't EVEN care about this types of games, the experience here is rather unique.
Music is top notch too, it has a lot of effort put into it.
I don't really like VNs in general, not even eroges; but this game man, this game just has it all.
The story is a really compelling one, you really feel for the characters, even the smuggest villain-looking ones have a hardship, a regret, or something they miss; they're just well written in general. Some, I like more than others, but that's more for you to judge, I personally didn't like Donovan that much, tho it's just made for that regard, I guess.

Bottom line is: Buy it, it won't ever go on sale, I'm afraid, so don't wait for a red moon.

I really wanted to try this game 'cause it is a masterpiece as I've been told, but the PC port is atrocious, in fact, even GTA IV port at launch worked better than this one.
It crashes if I use DX11 and if I don't execute Steam as admin. It crashes every time I close it, runs at 30fps and if I use the .ini patch to make it work at 60fps I get frame drops (which makes it unplayable), and this is why I'm gonna refund.

Waste of time and money. Better pirate it, it's better than giving rockstar money for something that barely works.

Some years ago, close 2015 when the game was still in early access there were no skins to purchase, and it was alright.
Some time after they dediced it was a good idea to go with the skins thing which became popular thanks to CSGO, and I think it was still alright to me, even tho I prefer when games gives you a free way to have skins at least, and no just "purchase key 2.5 USD, get nothing, repeat".
I was like: well, I think this is going downhill; and for my surprise, it did.
After a long time not playing this game, I still manage to encounter the same bugs I experienced throughout my 5 years of playing this. Also the lack of optimization when it comes to: loading times, sudden stutter when I grab/buy a weapon, kevlar, or money, when a new round starts, etc. But the worst part is that, now instead of just skins, or bundles of said skins, you have to purchase the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons; I think this is something I've never seen from a wave game with an economy system. Also the cost of said weapons are 10 USD, which I find really expensive and hillarious.

This was a good game tbh, but devs just like to get greedy and milk the game down when they don't know what to do with it.

Buy something else if you don't want to get bothered by this, or if you still want to play KF2 you can either:
A: Buy KF1
B: Buy this but don't buy overpriced garbage from the store.
