Crash of Exile 2.

If you are the type of person who likes regularly crashing their PC in the hardest and most dangerous of instantaneous rebooting fashions then this game will be ideal for you (maybe not so for your hardware's longevity).

If you are not that kind of person and you do take pride in your system's maintenance and stability then avoid this game like the plague until Grinding Gear Games fix their abomination.

To GGG: launching a new game and then leaving it unfixed in this state over the winter holiday period is a pretty crap attitude to take towards the customers who keep your company afloat.

This DLC has astounding levels of content compared to Bohemia's own DLC's and is more comparable if not better than Apex which is an Expansion.

Global-Mobilization contains LOADS more content than Apex and turns Arma 3 into an entire new game focusing on Cold War Europe!

The level of detail in every asset is on par with and in most cases superior to the other Bohemia DLC's.
The attention to detail of the included Weferlingen terrain is close to perfection and all of the terrain assets are superb.
It really makes you feel like you are in 1980's Europe and as a bonus there is a winter terrain thrown in too!

The included missions are well worth playing, along with the accompanying German voice acting.
These days my German vocab is a little rusty but I simply turned on the English subtitles, which along with the German voice acting really brought a bucket-load of extra atmosphere to a really enjoyable campaign!

I commend Vertexmacht for their dedication and effort on creating this truly atmospheric DLC, it is exactly what Arma 3 needed!

For a game concept it is a good idea - mars, colonies, clones, resources, good initial concept.

As for their sole reliance on one game 'currency' item type(FLOPS(Floiating Point Operations Per Second)) which regulates the mecahnic of your entire game progression through from player progression to survival and any base expansion (leveling) you require I am not so sure - if you want to pregress you have to consistenly add flops to your character AND base, otherwise your base will get wiped due to a timeout on the flops stored within it.

Having the entire game hang on one players ability to amass enough FLOPS to maintain their 'base' as well as rank up their player progression within the same currency scheme seems rather limiting in scope, albeit overall.

In addition to this the 'seasons' - solar flare events that occur when the developers wish to progress the timelime do not seem a realistic mechanic at all - you can for example save your progression within the memory banks of a harvestor (a conveniently placed massive structure reminiscent of a nuclear steam tower within which you can save your brains(FLOPS)) and completely avoid such an event - irregardless of the fact that a CME is much like an EMP in which case it would have detrimental effects to anything electronic operating at the time.

After any CME/solar flare events you can then just re-upload this harvestor content to your new clone-brain (how did you know it existed if you are a 'new' clone?) - missing game logic/mechanic.

There are a lot of things missing from this game concept which you would expect of a space/planetary-exploration type game tackling such a scenario.

If you are looking for the type of game where you actually have to farm relevant resources, make friends and allies in other players then I would I'd suggest you wait until they develop it further, possibly change their end-game rhetoric or maybe just look at another title that promotes a more survival game-mode instead of a kill-all-and-win-all scenario.

If you are looking for Rust in space, this is probably your game - farm the crap out of the world - shoot people, / repeat.

Best game I've played in a long time! Only downside is no co-operative mode. Still 10/10!
