Don't Be Misled by Negative Reviews
Many of the negative reviews seem to come from people who bought the game without properly understanding what it offers. They expected something different and were disappointed. I've read many of the reviews, so I'd like to respond here.

⚪ Story
First and foremost, this game is heavily story-driven. You'll be reading a lot of dialogue and watching many cutscenes because the narrative is at the core of the experience. If you're looking for a game where you can jump straight into action without caring about the story, this might not be for you.
Now, about the story itself; it's a mix of a mix of heavy themes like the consequences of war, how history is written by the winners, and how people can lose themselves enough to commit war crimes for personal gain. Alongside more casual, heartwarming stuff like friendship, respect, family, and love.

⚪ Gameplay
The gameplay is turn-based, so it has a slower pace. One of the biggest complaints from those who didn't enjoy the game is that you can't skip enemy turns, which they found boring. However, watching the enemy’s moves is a fundamental part of the experience.
While the game may look like a shooter at first glance, it actually plays more like a chess match. Your enemy’s moves are just as important as your own. You need to plan not only based on your own troops but also on your opponent’s strategies and formations.

⚪ Class System & Combat Strategy
The game features five different classes and two types of tanks, each with a unique role on the battlefield. Using them effectively is key to success:

• Scout: High mobility, great for distractions, capturing bases, and discovering enemies. However, they have low durability and deal no damage to tanks.

• Shock Trooper: Machine-gun units with high damage output, even against tanks. They have average mobility but are great frontline fighters.

• Lancer: Anti-tank units that are quite bulky themselves. However, they are slow and best used strategically.

• Engineer: The absolute heroes of the battlefield. They repair tanks, disarm traps, mines, and roadblocks, replenish ammo and grenades, and even heal soldiers.

• Sniper: Deadly long-range attackers. If you're exposed in the open, a sniper can eliminate you in a single shot. They can take out multiple enemies in a single turn if positioned well.

• Tank: A walking fortress. Tanks deal massive damage and are incredibly hard to take down. They can be used as moving cover for your infantry, deploy smoke grenades to block enemy vision, and even scout areas more safely than regular units, though they're still vulnerable if left unsupported.

If even one of these classes is missing from your squad, you'll definitely feel its absence.

⚪ Music & Graphics
The music is excellent, and while the graphics have a unique artistic style, you can judge for yourself from the available screenshots and gameplay videos. Personally, I really liked the aesthetic, but it may not appeal to everyone.

⚪ Ranking System & Replayability
One important thing to note is that battles are graded with ranks (A, B, C, etc.) based on how quickly you complete them. However, your rank doesn’t significantly impact the game, so don’t stress about it on your first playthrough.

Once you complete the game, it resets, but you keep all your upgrades and weapons and you unlock additional content. This allows you to replay the game and aim for an all A-rank run if you want. Since your characters become stronger and you gain more experience, battles that once took an hour can later be finished in just 10 minutes. Of course, ranking up is optional and mainly for achievement hunters.

⚪ Technical Issues
Some players have reported technical issues, but neither I nor my friends who played the game encountered any problems. It doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue.

Note: Years later, when I revisited the game, I experienced a strange stuttering issue while driving a tank. After some research, I discovered that my monitor was running at 59 FPS while the game was set to 60 FPS. Locking my monitor's refresh rate to 60 FPS completely resolved the issue.
