Looks great, hoping the full game will be good as well.

A sequel to a classic NES game. What`s great about this is that it is still River City Ransom. It does bring new characters with different fighting styles and it is more "user-friendly" but the game doesen't hold your hand. It's not a game that "plays itself" like some modern games unfortunatelly are. Overall it is a great beat'em up game with at least one fighting style for every taste. For who hasn't played the orginal NES game: this is not a linear type of a beat'em up game where you complete stages and just move forward, don't expect a Final Fight type of game(some fighting styles might remind you of that, but that`s where the similarities end). This is a story-driven beat'em up with rpg elements and a somehow open world and endless respawning enemies. Yes, the story is silly and doesen't make much sense but that's the point, it aims to be funny not serious. Now, if they could fix the few bugged acheivements( i'm pretty sure at least "Octoboss" is bugged ) it would be awesome.

Well it`s clear that the game wanted more to be a "The Godfahter meets Vice City" mix than a proper sequel to the first 2 entries in the series. This didn`t end up quite as one would expect as the game was rushed and it is clearly not so well optimized and still a little buggy. One more thing that adds up to that is the fact that the collectibles are pretty much worthless. But it did some things very good, and those are : the story, the setting(the atmosphere of the era and soundtrack are really at least on par with what Vice City managed at the time of its release) and the main missions(closer to linear games, but they work very good in this game). The combat is decent, the cover system is good, the weapons feel nice for a third person shooter, but the stealth system suffers from lack of choices. You basically don`t have other options than stabbing and a silenced pistol. You can`t use the enviroment or take hostages, it really gets boring as you won`t get to see too much different animations as well. So, as long as you use the "weapons blazing" alternative, the gameplay is good. The DLCs are cool but kind of short. They do add some new gameplay elements and locations but unfortunatelly usless outside of the DLCs(even the weed growing as you really don`t need money in this game, you get your weapons everywhere and there are medkits in almost every corner-shop). It`s worth it though.
TLDR : Buy this game on sale, you should really give it a chance for the things it does good.

One of the best adventure games of all times. And i am aware that nowadays we have adventure games with impressive graphics or with great storylines, with vast areas to explore, games that offer addictive gameplay, and i love those too(i also like the TR reboot, for example). But as wierd as it may sound, nothing beats the feeling of swan-diving through a small gap in the middle of a lava lake into a pond that lays directly under that lava. While on today`s standards, TR2 may not be quite an "eye candy", it compensates with some great level designs, and it sure offers great gameplay, making the player to put some effort in order to complete the game.

CS:GO Review
"Rush B, don`t stop" simulator. Fun game though, despite some players that take it way too serious.
