I rarely play games that don't include some sort of action element, so was hesitant to start a visual novel; however, within the hour, I was hooked and wanted to learn more about the characters and world.

The plot was immediately gripping and the characters are all very distinct. I genuinely had to take breaks to ponder my choices, and while they don't ALL cause major consequences within the game, I truly found myself pondering my own take on these topics as opposed to being concerned with how it may affect the outcome of my own playthrough. The game's strength is definitely in its writing. It can come off preachy, but it really does make you think about how AI will eventually come to affect our real lives.

Gameplay-wise, there could been more to interact with and minigames to break up the very dialogue-heavy nature of the game. There are some QTEs but nothing beyond pressing a few keys here and there. I wish there had been more usage for the various items we were inspecting, though some did present new dialogue options if you were a scrutinizing player.

The music was charming, if not a bit basic "cyberpunk lo-fi" vibes. I did find it comforting to listen to while debating which side of the fence I was on with the multitude of factions that exist within the world.

The art was beautiful, though I wish there were more scenes. The animations and environments are all hand-drawn and the locations that do exist feel very lived-in.

I felt a bit empty, like a piece of me was missing after I completed my first playthrough. To me, that's a great sign of impactful media (games/books/movies/etc.).

Overall, incredibly pleased with it.

Early Access Review
Super fast paced fun borderlands style gameplay. Only bothersome thing is unlocking all the new chars take a while but the first character is one of the best.

Super well crafted. Gameplay is grindy, but that's kind of the point. End-game is fashion, don't listen to what anyone else says. Recommended to play with friends, but doable solo. Lots of free content and crossovers.
