Unskippable LONG cinematics. Reason enough to never try this game again.

Finished Dishonored 1 today and figured I'd go and play the sequel right after. I guess that was not a good idea, because the games are so different.

Things I absolutely hate in Dishonored 2, that didn't exist in the first game:

- Motion sickness. Bobbing can't be taken off completely even when the slider goes to 0. You bob when you run, and have some fov change when you hold your sword down for a strike or sprint. Absolutely disgusting to look at.
- The character you play CONSTANTLY talks to himself and it's insanely annoying to listen to.
- The movement feels more clunky. It's like playing some cheap 2D platformer made with Unity.

Probably will play again in a few years when I forget about how good the first game was, so I don't have anything to compare this game to and be disappointed. If I didn't buy this on a sale, I would've asked for a refund.

Perhaps worth it on 90% sale, otherwise not.

Pretty much everything about the game feels like it's made without putting any real effort in it. Feels like it's someone's hobby and now he's asking money for it.

Very good game. Played with a friend and quickly became the best in the game rankings.

My chair doesn't squeak any longer. Learned her place.

I've played this probably over 50k hours since 2003. I do recommend if you are looking for nostalgic game with fast paced action. If you're a typical 2022 fps player and need the game to hold you by hand, this is not the game for you. Here's something you should consider before trying the game:

- It's optimized for old computers, which means you have to input a ton of settings before you can play it enjoyably with modern pc. None of these settings are on by default.
- Most servers are full of bots and require you to download a lot of useless mods (soundpacks, skins, maps, whatever). The download speed can be very low unless you figure out proper settings.
- Don't expect hitboxes to be accurate, they are far from that.

If you don't mind the above, you can probably enjoy the game a little. Oh, and because it's a free game, everyone is a total ♥♥♥♥.
