Good space co-op game to play with friends over vocal.
Rogue-lite approach makes it pretty replayable.
Having 4 people is ideal but it can be played with less.
Some bugs remain but updates are frequent.
Game is pretty complete but there's somewhat a lack of content.
Some objectives quickly become repetitive.
Beating all 3 bosses in one run all while looting everything will take you more then 3 hours. A certain save feature would be appreciated.

I've been playing this for a few hours and I might even finish it but I've already made up my mind about it I'd say.
Honestly this just fails as a stealth game. The AI is made to be punishing if you try to approach it the classic stealth way as in sneaking around close to the patrols. The visibility indicator you have might as well not be there at all because sometimes when the bots look for you even if the game says you're completely invisible they still just run straight at you. I've found it extremely hard to just lose enemies in hiding places. You basically have to just run for it as if playing Rust and wait until they stop chasing you. Unfortunately this encourages you to just avoid most enemies by a wide range and just approach those you really need that are protecting objectives you need to loot.
The whole survival/loot system is mid at best. I've literally played for 3 hours without finding a map or a weapon. This really made me feel like a hobo and progress was painfully slow especially without a map. Also the sheer amount of "junk" category items that you can't use at all is annoying.
The combat, when you manage to find weapons and not just dead rats and rotting boots, is pretty underwhelming. My main issue is with the bots having near perfect aim when they start chasing you as well as infinite ammo. I get that they wanted to discourage confrontation and have you run and hide but with how ill equipped you actually are for stealth, it's just underwhelming.
This game is definitely being carried by its aesthetic of Victorian style robot gentlemen.

tl;dr: good foundation but way to buggy and unoptimised.

The game setting is very 40k like and it's pretty interesting. You have 3 factions fighting in a war and you and your fellow scavengers come along to take all the scraps.
Right now there are a few bugs/flaws that make this game quite frustrating:
- Unoptimised to the point where with my 4070Ti is having issues going over 40fps with graphics on medium and 1080p resolution and there are definitely places where its just barely 10fps.
- You get stuck on decor ALL THE TIME. And this was mentioned by pretty much everyone. Basically your character is supposed to be able to vault/scale but most of the time it's just random. Some places knee high will just not let you go over them whereas other places you'll be able to vault over invisible walls. Basically the game is having huge issues with collision boxes EVERYWHERE.
- Mob AI is so random. In the first map where it's basically a battle field, most mobs will flat out not see you if you're crouching even if you go right trough them, whereas some other time they will just randomly aggro you out of nowhere. I mean there is kind of a pattern there but it's just painful when you die to a squad of solders that just decided to agro you out of nowhere.
- Loot is disappearing sometimes nearly instantly especially on big battlefields. Some have speculated that there's a max number of lootable stuff on the floor that can be present at the same time so some things like turrets that get obliterated at the beginning of the conflict have their loot just go poof even before you can get to them. This is especially annoying when you're missions is to get said loot. Having a timer would be ok but this is just annoying.
- Tarkov like interface/UI in the base is ok but honestly not that great. Progression isn't very clear and soon you find yourself wondering if you're not just replaying the same content over and over. This could be alleviated trough quests, tasks and challenges. But currently it's all very basic. I think it's partially the fault of the UI and partially the lack of content.
- Loot seems pointless. Everything except guns, ammo, water, equipment and rig upgrades is just junk. Which is like 80% of stuff you find. It's just meant to be sold and has a different money value. Basically most of the loot is in the junk category and it can't be used for anything other then selling. Food/drinks can be eaten to regain some HP in missions but those are basically in every way inferior to health kits.
- Crafting is basically in its nascent stage. All you can do is make 1 type of ammo with one alcohol or tobacco.
- Definitely a lack of content.

Still the game has a lot of potential and I've had some fun with it. Would love to see it polished.

Honestly a good game but it falls short on a few things.
The core gameplay loop of looting settlements becomes a bit repetitive as its always the same.
Events and dungeons definitely good and they keep you entertained for a certain time.
There combat is decent but it becomes repetitive very soon. If you like to just shoot stuff over and over with the same weapons then it's all good but it definitely lacks diversity.
The whole point in using deviations as special abilities is good idea but they run out so fast that you end up 90% of the time just shooting stuff with your gun. Basically palworld/pokemon but you can only carry one at a time and it gets tired after 10s and has to rest for a minute after.
The construction system is good but a bit wonky at times and it's definitely something they have been improving over time.
The random perk system with limited rerolls per season is just bad. They want to force players to specialise in different stuff and play as teams or guilds but some perks are just way better then others or outright useless so if you're really unlucky you can end up with a character/base that is just objectively worse then others.
Gear rarity makes no sense at all. There are tears of equipment based on the resources they use yet they also have rarity which makes no sense at all.
The whole survival aspect of the game is just meh. There are basically less then 10 different survival resource nods in the game and they are everywhere. The other resources used are looted from crates and you usually loot all tier 3 resources in the same tear 3 zone so I don't get why there's like 5 of them.
Vehicles are a joke lol, it just feels unnatural especially if you have played games like "days gone".
The lore and feel of the world has so much potential. Yet for now its criminally underused. It has that feel of Lovecraft horror yet without the whole mystery and horror element as some mobs are just everywhere for no reason. Basically The Secret World did this waaay better. Still I hope this changes and we get more mystery and "life" in this world.
The characters excluding some of the main ones are just random farmer bob and his strong female counterpart. I pretty much don't remember any of them and most are just ugly. Exceptions being Mary and the Deviation expert dude. I expected more from an Asian MMO.
Still the game has its charms and is definitely playable.

The main reason why I don't recommend this game and frankly if it weren't for this I would recommend it, it's the state the servers are in. As the game came out a ton of people joined servers and they quickly became full. Now most of those servers are ghost towns yet people can't make new characters there and invite friends as they are "full" even if the number of concurrent players is probably less then 100.
As of today they are giving out special invitations for people to invite friends to their servers even if they are full which is not helping at all with the core issue : dead servers.
As long as there are no server transfers possible, I'm not going to recommend this game.

All is ok until you get to the mountain mobs that literally stun lock you if they hit you. Every game since the dawn of time has mechanics in place that prevent you from getting chain stun locked but this one somehow taught it would be ok for players to get cheesed to death by a pack of 5 mobs that just spam stun attacks...

Make Super Earth great again.
Forcing people to make a Sony account is treason.

This game went from having the best free to play model to an extremely predatory system. Seeing how this game is marketed to kids 7+ it basically promotes gambling for kids which is a disgusting and pretty much illegal business practice.

Frostivus has been a huge cash grab to the point where I'm amazed at how scummy it is. It's full on gambling to get one skin out of a huge pool and to add insult to injury the higher tiers are near impossible to get from a pull as the game incentivizes you to burn 5 normal skins to get one rare then 5 rare to get one epic. When each gambling chip costs around 2.5 Euros, soon enough you will be faced with a whopping cost of 300+ Euros to get a tier 4 skin. Epic skins in Dota were always expensive yes but it was around 30 not 300. This is clearly an attempt to be predatory and milk whales with gacha gambling mechanics.
Also you can't even resell the skin anymore basically either you gamble your way to a skin or you can buy a 15 year old low resolution skin from the market. This would't be a problem if the current skins were monetised at a fair price.

I know this might sound as baseless whining to many people as it's a free to play game but as someone who's been supporting this game for years, buying skins, battle passes, subscriptions etc I find this insulting at best. I like getting a skin or two for some heroes I like and this process used to feel pretty decent as you had to chip in some money and in the process you'd get to support the game, but now it feels like unless you have 500 Euros to burn for pretty much nothing you're not allowed to enjoy that aspect of the game anymore which is customising hero appearances.

I basically spent 20 Euros on the Frostivus event and ended up with 3 normal and 1 rare skin that I got by burning 5 normal ones. None of the 4 skins are those that I wanted, they are okish but that's all. Clearly not worth the money I put in so just from a customer experience point of view it was bad.

Not being able to chose what you buy with your money and having to gamble your way to content should be illegal and it pretty much is in the EU and many other countries.
