This is a very fun idea for a PVE game, but the short time I spent playing it revealed console-gimped shooting and movement. On PC in 2024, movement and shooting MUST feeling amazing or the game deserves in the reject pile. Also, QTE skills are a no-go for me. I tried to refund the game but I was over the 2 hour playtime maximum that steam allows for refunds - but about an hour of my play time, pushing me over the two hour limit, was waiting on black screens in queue when the game was first launched and unplayable. Very disappointed, not the first time I've hopped on a hype train that turned into a massive disappointment (e.g., New World, D4).

I no longer recommend this game if you play on MnK. At this point, it feels like 90% of the PC playerbase is on controller. So the fights are very controller-oriented, with enemies hiding mid to long range, and trying to close the distance to close to mid-close range where controller aim assist is strongest, providing controller players average accuracy well above what's humanly possible on MnK. Googling Apex Legends rotational aim assist will give you plenty of material to read more about the issues the game suffers (from an MnK players perspective) from controller players being gift instantaneous, completely software-based reaction time. Was a great game - perhaps the best multiplayer game from 2019-2024 - before aim assist ruined it.

An underrated game. It's a bit like Jonah Mormont starred in Crank, with Hitman influences. Not bad for $5. A good, fun time, despite feeling like it overstayed its welcome by an hour or so.

Early Access Review
Great idea, worth the $5. Hope they improve (adding aiming factoring in your realistic movement, aiming factoring in realistic enemy movement, etc.). Lots of possibilities here.

This is a decent 5 hour single player game. The New Order was a much better overall experience, but this is a passable sequel. 7/10

One of a handful of games I've ever pre-ordered. Try as I might, I couldn't get into it. Borderlands 1 was a classic, Borderlands 2 improved on it, but the Pre-Sequel is absurdly boring. Lame story, lame setting, lame guns, lame quests... For example, I just tried to pick it up (again) after 6 months and got a quest called No Nova, No Problem. Required me to walk 10 minutes across the world, then disable 5 security cameras simultanously with a Nova shield, which apparently the NPC gave me 6-24 months ago. Have no clue what I did with said Nova shileld, but it's not in my inventory. Feels like work, but with nothing to show for it.

Run and gun or stealth, this game has a lot to offer. Its action-packed beginning feels tedious, but once the opening credits roll after half an hour of play you'll realize the fun's about to start.

The storyline tutorial was well-done, but the minutia of the building process really sucked the joy out of this game. You want to build a room? You will need to select the room size, place doors, place windows, select flooring, etc., then you'll need to run freaking water and electric to your new space. I might be willing to go through this laborious effort if I was getting paid, but, alas, I'm not.

I had a veryyyyy hard time getting myself to play this game after playing TONS of Fallout 3, as they seemed so similar. Even the first hour or so of New Vegas bored me to tears. About 25 hours in, though, I can see why the game is so loved. The quests are well-done and some of them are memorable (Framed for murder while investigating a kidnapping/cannibalism?! Brilliant.). Fallout 3 is an open world, groundbreaking classic and New Vegas is an epic quest classic in its own right.
