played the Demo already years back, and I got a lot to say
I really feel conflicted about this game.
On one hand, it has a lot of potential, i love many of the gameplay elements in the game. The weapons are fun to use, although somewhat inaccurate and sometimes their damage output feels all over the place. Soundtrack is really amazing, and i love the lore and the world building of the game! poor android girl....
However! I cant get around the fact that this game features MANY areas where you get softlocked.
Usually, it goes something like this: you explore a massive, mostly empty map, then you find an elevator, or you find a tram line, or just a hole you drop down, and then once you are there, you realize theres no way back. The elevators are one way only, and if you dont use them exactly at the point in the story where you are supposed to, you wont be able to return to that area, preventing you from finishing a level. Then theres chasms where you see loot down at the bottom. Obviously, you would explore because you wanna get that stuff. and then you cant leave the chasm anymore because no matter where you go, no ladders, and all walls so high you cant jump out anymore. I feel like the game hasnt been playtested enough in some spots. Add to that that most of the actually playable areas are desolate and vast, so when you do come across something, you always assume its placed there intentionally for the player, not just as one massive mouse trap to softlock you. Also, theres no autosaves, or barely any? i never had one happen for me, so unless you saved right before that trap, you can wave your progress goodbye.

So like i said. I really love this game, but it has some very, VERY big flaws that just can't be ignored. It has tons of potential, and those elements of gameplay that I praised are very fun.

hab das Spiel früher immer mit meinem Vater und Bruder zusammen gezockt, fast wöchentliche LAN-Parties auf Monkeybay, Bacardi 2, und vielen weiteren von der Community erstellten Maps.
Ich vermisse diese simpleren Zeiten. Ich vermisse sie sehr.
Leider sind die Online-Features heutzutage nicht mehr zugängig, also muss man ein bisschen Kreativ werden, um mit anderen Leuten spielen zu können

great VR mod for Half Life 2, the guns feel nice to play with, and you actually have to load shells and mags. Only thing missing is the 3 hour long barney X gordon gay ♥♥♥ scene-

I never played the original Silent Hill 2, so i cant say how accurate this is as a remake. But judging it on its own merits, this game is nothing short of a masterpiece. Visually, it looks amazing, and has many small details that just make you feel happy for noticing, for example, if James walks through muddy terrain, he leaves actual imprints of his shoes in the mud. the graphics are done really well too. The music is also just... fantastic. Akira Yamaoka really did it again, delivering the best music in any videogame ever, a second time. As for the story, yup, still feeling mentally scared from it. It hurts in all the right places. The only issue i have is the eddie plot, though i guess since that was part of the original game too, they had no choice but to keep that. Didnt like how that was resolved, but overall i really enjoyed the game.
I'll spend a lot of time replaying it just to relive the story and reexperience the hauntingly beautiful graphics and music.

the most fun way to relive the original Half Life as a multiplayer experience.
some parts of the game have been slightly changed for an improved QoL, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
Subtracting some score for the elevators that would eat people and not let them go, but overall a great fun experience!

Multiplayer Walking Sim with slight shooting elements.
The instanced locations are all single player, not what me and my friend expected when we both downloaded the game.
Also the fighting is very frustrating. Not recommended. Play something fun instead, like going outside and staring at the sun

Quite possibly the most fun arena shooter i've played in a while.
The movement feels really good, and the gunplay is also really great.
The weapon variety is really cool, i love all of the weapons, really creative and fun to use.
And the maps are also a lot of fun, though I mostly love the maps that recreate little cities and such.

Definitely worth playing, specially because its free, and thats a great price.

I played the free base game before and LOVED it.

I bought the GOLD edition and I think its definitely worth it!

sountrack and art style and story are just so wonderful!
