Way too easy. The bird, cat and dog ones were actually slightly challenging at times, but I finished this one in 1 minute. Had to afk just to let the achievements finish popping up lmao.

This is like the 10th “100 hidden” game I’ve played from this dev. They’re usually pretty chill to “play” while watching anime or whatever—but this one was straight booty cheeks. It bugged out multiple times (not even counting frogs I actually found), and somehow almost maxed out my 4090 GPU—lmao. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a crypto miner in it, and if not, then it’s hands down the worst optimized game I’ve ever seen.

You literally have to disconnect your internet just to make the game run properly. If you don’t, it freezes every 2 minutes for about 4 seconds—completely unplayable. For such a massive IP, you'd think the devs would care, but nope. It’s actually wild how broken this is.

I’ve tried all the suggested fixes (like editing the hosts file), but as of 3/24/25 on Windows 11, none of them work anymore.

Update: I was able to fix this issue by hex editing the exe launch file, basically erasing the line that attempts to run a server check to the ubisoft server.

In case you want to circumvent the problem yourself you can drop your own executables "AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe" and "AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe" in a Hex editor, search for the text-string "gconnect.ubi.com" and replace the bytes with zeros so that the whole line is removed.

"Better Than Most Modern Indies"

Played Half-Life for the first time in 2025. No nostalgia, no mods, no HD pack—just pure, unfiltered late '90s magic. And guess what? It still slaps.

The game flows so well, never overstays its welcome, and keeps you hooked the whole time. Meanwhile, some modern indies can’t even figure out how to make an opening level fun. Valve did it back in '98 and made it look easy.

That said, if you've never played before, prepare to absolutely abuse the F6 key (quick save). One second you're vibing, the next you're getting deleted by a headcrab you didn't see or a surprise turret around the corner.

10/10—if this game was a scientist, I'd actually try to save him.

"Dave the Errand Boy"
Overall, a cool concept and genuinely fun—until I unlocked all the depths and suddenly became Dave the Deep-Sea DoorDash Diver. The first 8-10 hours? Peak enjoyment—diving, surviving, and harpooning fish like a sushi-themed John Wick. But after that, it kinda turned into an underwater Uber Eats sim with a side of fish collection.

If you love hoarding and grinding for every last coin, you’ll be swimming in content. Me? I could quit now and feel fulfilled, but I’m committed to wrapping up the main story and then WeMod-ing my way to 100% completion like a speedrun addict.

Props to MintRocket for making a great game—even if I’m now just a deep-sea delivery boy with a harpoon. 🐟🚀

Early Access Review
The most overhyped game of 2024 (so far). It's fun for a couple of hours, but the gameplay loop gets boring quickly once the honeymoon phase is over. Leveling slows down like crazy around the mid 20s, had to mod the game heavily just to enjoy it after that. If you're into extremely grindy/timesink games, here's your banger. Btw there's no real story, no voiceacting, just a big map to run around wasting your time doing the same thing over and over. Getting my achivements and on to the next 💩

[Edit]
"Finished" the game now. I must tip my hat to the devs for somehow getting filthy rich off what is essentially an Ark clone without nearly the depth of content. All this game proved to me is The Pokemon Company has messed up severely with not expanding on their franchise over the years. Clearly people are thirsty for a new age style of Pokemon and would love to play it off the Nintendo platform as well.

It's a fun game, but unplayable. P2P connection is complete trash most matches. Everything on my end is 100%, but you get one rando with a terrible connection and you will have a horrible experience. Not to mention, if you have to migrate hosts you will most likely need to redo the whole level again. I've literally wasted so much time playing the game, only to disconnect from a bad host and earn nothing from my time. Also, trying to be clutch with timing is near impossible to do when you block/dodge and then a whole second later you take damage from lag.

Besides the P2P issue, the boss levels are not worth the effort to complete IMO. Most pickup groups fail on them and again, you waste time getting no loot. I skip these everytime I quick que into them.

Game is great minus the P2P. If they ever fixed that, then I could recommend this game. I find myself more upset playing Vermintide 2 at a high level than having fun. The lag is honestly that bad.
