One of the poorer bullet heavens I've tried. Probably what hurts this game the most is the lack of sound effects on all weapons. It really makes it feel like everything you do has no impact.

Some other negatives are shallow/repetitive gameplay loop, plain map design, lack of special events, and no unique mechanics

Given the absurd amount of other better bullet heavens/survivor games out, there is no real reason to play this one

While not as good as Frostpunk (A high bar anyway), it certainly scratches the same itch.
Yes it can be hard depending on your play style, I had no issue with it though and in fact found it easier than Frostpunk. A difficulty option would easily solve this issue, which they are planning to add. But like Frostpunk, I think most of the fun comes from the challenge and tension which you miss out on when you're just chillin'.

Having said that, some of the mechanics are indeed annoying and could be improved. I see other reviewers suggesting adding stuff from Frostpunk and I completely disagree. I think it's good for the game to not completely copy Frostpunk, that would just be a boring cop out.

Overall a great game worth playing.

More a "Meh" than a thumbs down. It's just very unsatisfying to play compared to other VS-likes.
20 mins till dawn, Rogue Genesia, Brotato and HoloCure all do it better.

Great game if you don't like flight sims but like shooting down planes.

Finished this game on Game Pass but just had to buy it on Steam as well to support the devs and because of how much I enjoyed it. The writing and world-building in this game is amazing and really sucks you in. The gameplay is simple but satisfying. The art and music are great as well. Definitely one of the best games I've played this year.

But now it's time to follow the thread back home.

A classic old school style JRPG with great pixel art, story and music.

I don't normally like city builders but the campaign, theme and music are so good in this.

Challenging but addictive gameplay, love it.

A sick arcade flight sim. Captures the same spirit and vibe as Ace Combat.
