After playing about 160 hours of Starfield I feel sad to say I've lost interest in the game somewhat.
I'm excited to read more about the Shattered Space DLC and I will probably buy it but right now I've decided to take a break from the "space exploration"

My pros and cons
- Enemys all are underdeveloped and noncomplex. Their combat is all the same and gets very boring after a while

- Dungeons and caves are all very plain and short. They also get repetetive after having done all different variations of them.

- Planet exploration. Look I get it, it would've been amazing if the planets actually where one big map that you could travel around similar to Starcitizen or Space engineers, Although I feel like the size of the maps and the fact you have to keep landing everywhere is my biggest con for Starfield. I would've accepted this entire idea of procedual generation if it actually generated more the further you go. Instead you keep getting put down in a fishtank everytime. Filled with plants, other life and small buildings/monuments that feel like they where just added because screw it.

- Cities and Settlements, Although somehow in the story it might make sense, I feel like there aren't enough cities or big towns around in the world. and where they are it feels like they are unreasonably small. New Atlantis is just a tower with small farms around it, Akila City feels like a Wild Western set from hollywood althouhg very cool and intricate, Hopetown is just a joke, Paradiso is boring but pretty, Neon is very cool but it seems very weird there are no more Neon like cities around the planets ocean. Cydonia is interesting but not very broad. I feel like there is space for so many more cities and for so many more interesting monuments.

- Powers are all kinda mid. The reason I they are is because I literally don't find anything except "Sense Star Stuff" and "Personal Atmosfear" useful. I would have loved them to have somesort of bigger influence in the game like where you can get access to different places for loot by using different powers, an example might be doors that need electricity so you have to charge some battery up by using a potential electrical ability.

- No gamechanging consequenses
SPOILERS INCOMING
After entering NG+3 I decided that I wanted to actually all the faction questlines and just enjoy the game by making credits and building cool ship ideas. I found myself completing the Crimson Fleet questline and being stumped having to pick between the UC or Crimson Fleet. I was debating for about 30 minutes on what faction I wanted to part with as I was expecting some odd consequences from either faction. But after picking the Crimson Fleet I got highly disapointed. No consequences of my actions except a bunch of Constellation members on my ship wanting to talk to me.

+ Soundtrack and Music is amazing, as a songwriter, composer and producer I think that the music in the game is still adds to the gameplay.

+ Constellation questline/The main questline is great in my opinion. I feel like the entirety of the story wraps up well although with some downsides.

+ Ship building and ship combat.

+ Easter eggs and cool sidequests, don't read if you wanna find them yourself Let's just say I found by accident my Asian great x20 grandfather and I thought it was cool to do some quests for him,

+ Scanning. I might be getting some weird looks now but I actually enjoy the scanning concept, Although odd that in such a deep future there is no intel already on some of the planets I think it's fun to take some time and walk around planets scanning different fauna, flora and minerals. It's satisfying and the fact that you can convert your intel into credits makes it all better and actually worth the time walking around having to land in different biomes and such.

+- Outposts and interior design. Alright so, I was so excited when I heard you could build different outposts, get crew and have to defend your buildings from Ecliptics, Spacers and such. I have been okay so with the current state of building a major outpost to keep my contraband, loot and such. The one big downside is the fact you can't expand the build area more. I think it ruins alot of the sandbox feeling and it just feels like I said earlier, you are living in a fishtank. I like the design aspect where you completly design and pick your interior for your bases. It also feels more rewarding to put down that sofa when you actually have to farm up Structural material or fiber.

In the end as a summary I'd say that Starfield is a decent game, I don't feel like my money got stolen after playing 160 hours, I love space exploration and I feel like this game is a more handleable version of Starcitizen where this game is storydriven + the parts of Starcitizens exploration.
If you like space alot then maybe this game is for you, especially since there is plenty to explore and learn about. If you are more of a Skyrim, Fallout lover then I'm not very sure.

Out of 10 I would rate it an 8
