A VERY good game, one that I hope other AAA game studios/developers/publishers take notes from...it just personally wasn't for me.
A unique take on the "character action" genre, loads of style and flair, a lot of replay value, and some of the best uses of licensed music in a video game...ever!
Aside from a few personal (and really weird) gripes with the game, this is absolutely worth your time if you're:

A: wanting a new character action game to play, and are sick of DMC somehow.
B: disenfranchised with the state of AAA gaming, and need a white pill.

If you've ever wanted a spiritual successor to F.E.A.R., look no further than this.
Some of the tightest fps gameplay I've ever experienced.

After only 2 hours of playing, I shut it off. Really really boring bro. Not only does it run like ass, but it really does FEEL like it was rushed. it's just "Breath of The Wild but with a fast blue hedgehog, and none of the charm". You had SONIC running in an open-world and you FUMBLED it. How on earth do you fumble that?
However, this game sold really well, so hopefully, SEGA give Sonic Team more resources to work with for the sequel...
The only redeeming thing about the game is its soundtrack (or rather parts of the soundtrack), but only if you're a Sleeping With Sirens fan.

For fans of John Woo films, Die Hard and broken VHS tapes.

Max Payne 3 is possibly the best "playing" Max Payne. While it doesn't have the brooding, downcast tone of the 1st, or the emotional story of the 2nd, the 3rd still holds up to this day.

MAX PAYNE REMAKE HYPE!

For fans of open-world Ubisoft games, and people who wish there was an official Rambo game that wasn't ♥♥♥♥♥.

Some people say Far Cry 2 was the series' peak before the slow decline. I'd argue that 3, while it is a watering-down of 2's incredible gameplay and atmosphere, is still addicting and tight, especially with the Outposts. Easily the best part of the game, and I genuinely wouldn't mind it if it was JUST the outposts.
Leaping off a bridge and stabbing a pirate has never been as satisfying as this.

Also you shouldn't have killed Vaas early on.

For fans of the original novel, survival horror, the post-apocalypse and breathing in radiation through your mouth.

There is some Eurojank, but not as much as Vanilla STALKER. Atmosphere is incredible, playing on Survival/Ranger Hardcore is an experience.

I remember dropping this for several years, then re-installing it to play through the entire game a second time, and I'm still finding enjoyment with it. The amount of tiny details that are crammed into this game is overwhelming. While the open-worlds are barren in some areas, they are peppered with wildlife, plants and outposts. Furthermore, they are visually stunning, as is the rest of the game's graphics. Kudos to Kojima Productions' work on the FOX Engine.

CS:GO Review
I'll never forget the first time I played competitive CS:GO.

701 hours later and it's one of the most memorable games in my Steam Library. So many fond memories I have with this game.

Probably one of the greatest games I've ever played.
Tons of side content, a campy but engaging crime/drama story, very solid combat gameplay...just amazing.
Everyone should play this. Please play it.
