A simple little train management game where you have to figure out how to get all the trains safely to their stations.
It looks very simple, and frankly old-fashioned, but it is highly addictive.
The learning curve is not very steep, but it does get harder as you progress, with some of the later levels needing you to keep cool and stay focused as more and more trains are waiting to go out it can get a bit stressful.
You can do a half an hour game session, but it is easy to spend hours just figuring out where exactly you went wrong in your last try in the later stages.
Replay value is good if you want to finish all the levels with the full set of extra objectives.
I highly recommend it.

At a bit over 30 hours I have all the characters and the second licence board.
The journey has begun in earnest.

I have taken my time with this game, and it is rewarding to do so. The areas are huge, and it does take time to explore them fully (, something I have not come close to doing for the areas that have been opened so far).
The game is better than |I remember from the last time I played it on PS2, and I do look forward to seeing what is to come.

The only negatives are that it does take quite a while to fiddle about with the license boards now that they are all different, and I am missing subtitles.
Those are small issues though, and they don't make the game less worth playing.

Just started, but this already looks to be a great city builder game.

This game is one of the best Final Fantasy games of the Playstation era, and this is an excellent port.
Great for any RPG fan.
It is also a good starting point for anyone curious about the Final Fantasy series, or JRPGs in general.

This is highly likely to be the best strategy game ever made.

I started playing it when I bought the GOTY edition , and I last played it today and am nearing 1400 hours played..
The game is so vast and complex that I am still learning, and there are still things I want to achieve that I have not gotten around to doing.
Whether you are a novice at strategy games, or you have been playing them for decades, this is a game that is sure to give you value for money through hundreds of hours of building, developing, and managing.
