Fun game. Lazy review for the Steam Awards. Gets updated pretty regularly, there has been a massive increase in content since release. Has a decent number of maps to play on at this point and they add a new one every once in a while. Could use a bit more variety in ghost models though.

A creepy but not scary simulation that leans more into idea of going to a haunted house and hoping to see something paranormal rather than the constant adrenaline rush other ghost hunting games aim for. You will visit a location to collect evidence and likely see very little happen only to return to your office, organize your notes, and return with more information and get more activity. Locations may have multiple ghosts and what activity you witness will be dependent on both having some patience and how much you have researched a particular ghost (or ghosts). Each ghost has its own lore which you can piece together both from the ghost activity and the scraps of information you can obtain on site.

Really it might be better described as a walking simulator than a horror game and I can see those who want a scary horror experience finding it boring. On the other hand, I think it is uniquely charming and a wonderful change of pace from the many Phasmo-likes. And it is a good choice for anyone else looking for a more chill ghost-hunting experience for a change or for those who find other games too scary. Even the few jump scares can be toggled off. It has been receiving pretty frequent content updates and the developer has been very good about listening to feedback.

5/5 as a relaxing game of Cat Tetris to kill a few hours with but 0/5 for realism. Anyone owned by cats knows you can pile a nearly infinite number of them into a single cardboard box. Every tiny container or space between couch cushions becomes a Tardis the moment the cat decides it needs to fit inside.
