Free to play and cross-play 👍

Looks awesome and it really feels like a survivor on Hardcore so far

Mindless farming, dull environments & missions but the worst is the unbearable stuttering for a game that doesn't even look good. Not to mention the psychological aspect of grown men walking around in skimpy clothing is really offputing. Ignore horndogs as some can't tell between actual gameplay and being lonely. Just check the subreddit if in doubt

The one good aspect is the Colossus fights but even 90% of those become boring as you level

Best FPS multiplayer experience currently.

• Gameplay: In Halo you actually rely on strategy, accuracy, fast movement and mastery of the weapons. Great TTK that doesn't rely solely on who saw who first (unlike other reflex based shooters; more similar to rhythm games. Which BTW is capped and ping dependent).
  
  Tons of modes: Slayer, Cooperative, Duos, BTB, Firefight, CTF, Raid, Fiesta, Ranked. With Forge and tons community maps and game modes also. For an FPS game where you mostly rely on right clicking variety and strategy is a must. Also plenty of maps
  
  
• Customization: Armors and guns skins are very diverse and best of all is you can have most content with one cheap purchase which for a AAA game is not common
  
  
• Graphics and Settings: Both offer a lot of customization from enemy colors, effects and sizes to triple keybindings and a lot of mouse sensitivity fine-tuning
  
  
• Price: Multiplayer is free and the cosmetics feel reasonably priced; especially the battle pass scheme where you earn back what you've spent. There's also "Operations" which are seasonal and work like mini battle passes where you can get 30 Tiers of free content
  
  
• Weapons: I'd have liked to see a lot of the classic weapons make a comeback. Mostly from other factions as UNSC arsenal is mostly there but lacks the Sci-Fi feeling of other Halos
  
  There's no Carbine, Beam Rifle, Concussion Rifle, Fuel Rod, Light Rifle, Suppressor among others that were iconic in GFX/SFX and offered situational variety. Some new weapons that were added feel underwhelming and the feel-good design lackluster
  
  
• Equipment: There are too little of them and many are missing. The best ones IMO are the Grapple Beam, Repulsor and Dash
  
  The ones I feel should make a comeback are the Jetpack, Regen/Drop Shield, Speed Boost and Hologram. They offered unique gameplay styles and again, In an FPS the more you can add to the basics the better

For me is one of the best MP FPS MP as other ones I've tried just feel slow, unbalanced [instant ping based killing/cheating] or are not even shooters at all.

It's nice to have Halo around 💫

And believe me, I've been out there

Battle Royales suck and this is no exception

Turns take FOREVER in the only PvP mode available and 70% of players use the same two eternally boring decks so I just leave and let the timer ruuun baby. This will remain to be the case until they add an event perma-mode that changes rules weekly with custom banlists as they did in the Xyz event which was actually enjoyable. Until then I'd recommend playing a real strategy balanced FTP game that is LoR


You'd think after 20 years they'd finally balance the meta or at least create alternative banlist for casual playing but you have to remember they have to keep selling the newer real money making cards to neckbeards and simps so the game will always be broken ):

If you are a new player I would not recommend you wasting your time here and risking getting addicted to collecting as it happens with this kind of games; instead try "Legends of Runeterra" to scratch your CCG itch in more fast-paced, fun way

If you are a nostalf.. erm, a returning player like me - only play if you have friends to play custom games with and grind gems only in the most optimal way to avoid playing with the sweatlord fest that ranked is (you get 3 missions daily and you can store up to 9 at a time so you just have to play 3 games max every 3 days to collect all rewards, except daily login ones)
