Bought the game played it once. Now the game won't load just shows a black screen. Reinstalled it same just black screen. so cant even play it. Don't buy this until they fill all the unplayable issues

UPDATED - works now and fun to play exactly how you would of wanted star ship troopers and a little bit of terminator mixed together for action packed survival

Awesome game

I would usually be mad about the amount of bugs in a game, but this survival masterpiece pulls you in past the T-pose AI tribesmen shooting arrows out of the center of their chest with the sheer amount of survival goodiness. - MrWoody I pulled worms from my arm, poisoned myself, poisoned my friend, went insane, and still managed to build a small shelter. I'll love it as long as the devs keep hammering out the bugs, desync issues, and game breaking glitched animations.

I've only played the game for roughly 6 hours and I already fell in love with it. I love war games especially from past eras and this hits the Napoleanic era right on the nose. With horribly inaccurate muskets to battle hungry flag barers and drummers (yes i said drummers), its a chaotic mess where timing, chance, teamwork and strategy all play a major role in winning. I Love it when you get in to a full group of Line infantry, a commander, drummer, and flag barer (drummers and flag barers give you perks when nearby). The game just feels great and is a heck of alot of fun.

Did I mention the the Naval battles? Yeah Naval Battles with 1 gun boats up to 12 gun ships that you can man with a Captain, Marines, oh and yeah a violinist as well LOL!! If you ever wanted to role play in a game this is the game that absolutely calls for it!! So much fun so far couldn't believe I would love playing in 3rd person in a game (yes you can switch from both 1st and 3rd).

I absolutely recommend this game and give it 2 MrWoody thumbs up! It is in early access but doesnt feel like it. So with that in mind, it can only gain more content from here and has a great foundation to grow on. Great work devs with this one!!

Whats not to like?? Great game all around. Driven story line that lets you connect with characters, great gameplay mechanics, easy to coop, Zombies, awesome crafting, good skill tree, plus lots extra. As far as modern gaming goes this is one of the top feature complete games out and still getting free updates. Yeah thats right FREE Updates!! 3 thumbs up in MrWoody's Book!

Well there are good and bad things about the game but the bad are to the point of making the game broken in my opinion. I will list both and wont exaggerate past the point. I love survival games and starting to like sandbox with building.

First the good. I absolutely love dinosaurs and the fact that you can tame them makes it even better. The graphics are great (if you rig can handle it) but poorly optimized. Lots of leveling up to do with a bunch of unlocks without the feeling of too much grinding. Resources are hard to find at times and a bit difficult for the rare stuff but thats how its supposed to be and i do enjoy a difficult task. Maps are huge with a bunch of different ecosystems in them which makes for LOTS of exploring and fun adventures as well. Overall i would recommend this game IF it were not for these reasons below.

Now the BAD. Absolutely horrible servers!!!! Im not talking about people raiding and taking their high level characters to a new map and just wiping the whole map. Or people loading into a server just to lock it out so their friends can wipe it and you cant log on to defend your base. Im talking about basic server desync/crashes/staying offline in general. If it happened once in a while it would be fine but the simple fact that it is constant is what makes the game unplayable and completely broken. Along with the constant server lag/desync/outages, i took a break while servers were down for a week and logged on to find 2 of my bases completely gone and all of my tamed dinos(which takes a crazy amount of hours to tame and build a base with resources) were completely gone. Yeah there is a timer it was less than a week and if you dont log on and spend time on the server your stuff will completely vanish without trace kind of like foot soldiers from ninja turtles. When they are gone you are happy not when your hours and hours of hard work just disappear because of server problems. Going back to the good graphics well there is some bad that goes along with that as well.
This is absolutely one of the most unoptimized games out there and it just seems to get worse. I used to get more fps at launch and now the performance just keeps decreasing. There are lots of other reasons that his game is bad but not to the point of making it broken so i wont go into more cons just from my own experience.

As the current status of the game i wouldnt recommend it. I would recommend it if they stopped adding content and devoted more devs to solve the crazy amount of server problems but since launch of early access i havent seen the back end problems with the game improve just get worse with more dinos to have a poor gaming experience with. I dont see the devs tackling the problems with the game itself only see them working on more ways to sell. That is a poor business model in my opinion that seems to be the adopted norm at the moment with modern day titles.

Thumbs up to his game!! Surviving the mutant apocalypse is that much harder when humans are fighting for supplies. Corruption and double crossing at its finest indeed. Dont trust anyone lol.
Bottom line: if you want a game that will get your heart pumping get this!! P.S. Its so much better with a buddy

I went into this game as a buffer between waiting on a few other games im looking forward to. Keeping that in mind I do love all scifi/space games in general. The beginning was difficult i was having a hard time learning the controls and ended up giving up within the first two hours. I gave it another try and got the basics down and now am 36 hours into the game. I found myself loving it and enjoying the mystery of the story. From what i expect from a 30 usd game it surpasses in all categories. Yeah tutorials are not great, the voice overs are off sometimes and not perfect, finding the help section or explainations in the game about buying selling or how to bounty hunt and null and void. But with all that it is a 30 buck game reg price and i bought it for under 10 bucks. I rather enjoy figuring out how to figure out all the aspects of making money in game.

I say 2 thumbs up for what it is and i enjoy it even though i dislike 3rd person or control the ship games where im not in a first person view. 36 hours into it im not even in the dlc yet and havent even explored all the space available in the game aswell. I say its a win win!!!!

Great Game, great story, beautiful scenery, funny full of humor and conspiracies, short but fun. Ran through it on a stream in 3.5 hours. Loved it!!!!!

The game keeps crashing to desktop on the second set of races at the exact same moment. im not even 3% on career. When you try to get help or support steam points to ea and ea points back to steam. Ive been contacting ea for 2 weeks and still getting the run around with drivers and uninstall and reainstall then they made me download thier client and said that would fix the problem. Still doesnt work been doing countless steps to fix from them its doing the exact same thing. I believe that a game should work on a pc expecially nowadays. I tried to get refund from steam they said no because i went 20 min over my 2 hour time limit while trying to fix and because i bought this game a while back but never installed it. I say no to this and ea's support system and steams supports system need work big time. So yeah ea you are proving me wrong everyday.
