I wasn't super hyped about SAND LAND when I first learned about it. I love Akira Toriyama and his creations but, it just didn't look super exciting to me. The only thing that interested was the the art style. I looooove Toriyama's character design and vehicle design but that's all that drew me to this game. Well, today a streamer I like got a free code and gave it a go and suddenly I was immersed in the lore of the world and by the goofy characters. I was hooked. So I bought the game immediately a few hours before it came out. When I got back home the game had just released and I downloaded it and played up until the point I stopped watching the stream. And I'll say, it is FUN.

The art style, character design, vehicle design, lore and characters are ALL great so far.

The gameplay is actually tons of fun both in character combat and vehicle combat. This surprised me greatly and it's awesome! When not in a vehicle it's your typical new form of JRPG where there isn't any stopped time to attack or use items, it's all in the moment. Nothing too special about it, but it's fun and that's all you need! The vehicle combat is where the game shines right now to me. Not only is it super fun to roll around the desert in a tank and fight, but it has tons of upgrades and customization! So far I've only upgraded a few of the weapons but I can tell it's going to get crazy from here on! I also learned right before I stopped my play through for the day that there are other vehicles you will be getting throughout the game for different types of combat and maneuverability. Looking forward to that!

However, so far the only bad thing I can say about this game is the stuttering. Once in awhile the game stutters and drops frames a bit. It's not that bad and you can easily play through it while it only lasts a few seconds. I hear this is an Unreal Engine 5 problem from a few others and that streamer I was talking about earlier. It won't stop me from playing the game but I felt I had to share this info!

If you're on the fence about getting this game I highly recommend it so far, even if JRPG/RPG's aren't your usual game because the story and characters are just fun!



R.I.P. Akira Toriyama!

This is the kind of game I've been missing in modern day games. Recently the last 2 years or so we've gotten a resurgence of co-op fun games to play with your buddies. This one however, is the best one without a doubt that has come out recently. It is a very similar concept to Phasmophobia, Demonologist and the like but just so much better. The same kind of buying and inventory system are implemented in this game except a little more punishing at the end (losing all money and starting over) which in no way is a bad thing! It's fun to grind it out with friends! The visual style is unique and makes it fun and super compact so the game doesn't take up a lot of space. The monsters are scary and most are unique themselves. The proximity voice chat is hilarious as compared to Phasmo and Demonologist. The emotes you can do and the things you can buy all have a little sense of humor in it which makes the perfect mix of hilarity and horror. I highly recommend this game to any friend group who just wants to mess around, have fun, and get scared. It's also only $10 which is a steal for how fun it is. If there is any downside, it's the fact that it is in early access. I feel the routes become a little stagnant with not much variation when inside the building, but otherwise it's amazing. I'm sure the devs will add more monsters and routes and rooms to keep it interesting. Definitely recommend!

I got this game since it was a co-op for my friend and me to play a few years and we never really played it. Years later now it comes out and we finally got a chance to play and it's great! They've been developing this game for so long and finally released it officially which I commend. The gameplay is simple and fun and and I love just surviving with my buddy. We haven't gotten to the story really yet but we know it gets crazier later on!

Honestly a very fun game to play with friends. It's not an ever day game but every few weeks it's great to get a party together and just hunt some ghosts!

One of the best FPS that requires skill to play and fun once you get the hang of it.

Also gun.

This game is not only extremely well made gameplay wise, but the art is beautifully hand drawn and that makes the game just all the better.

Honestly this is one of my favorite games of all time. In Garry's Mod you can do practically anything as long as you find worshop items that do it or make it yourself. It definitely helps that the game has multiple fun multiplayer modes.

When I first joined the game I was a bit confused and just focused on not starving because hence the title. When I started to explore a bit I discovered that there are WAY more stuff to worry about besides starving such as how long my beard is, what style of clothing I'm wereing and of course, finding things. But through out my travels I slowly started to forget about a crucial part of the game. I later starved to death while stepping on black showy hands trying to steal my campfire and looking quite dapper with a Top Hat on.











Pros: Everything

Cons: Can only wear one dress item.

It's TF2 obviously great.
