I came, I saw, I got conquered, I came again.

Lots of fun for someone who has been super into the Nioh series. Its basically that mixed with an open world Ubisoft concept which more or less works. I've always loved this historical time period in Japan so a game set in it is great.

Performance wise it runs fine on my 3070. I cap it at 30 fps with everything at max at 1440p and DLSS set to Quality and it never gets dips or anything, just make sure you turn off all the useless crap like motion blur, vignette etc etc

Its a Fire Emblem iron man run only game. I do not enjoy that at all.

This game is clearly still in early access and its dishonest of the developers to pretend otherwise. Fine enough ARPG with everything simplified for the casuals with enough to meta game with crafting for the end game. Better than D4 at least.

The game focuses on our heroine Selaco as she has to get somewhere (a plant factory I think?). On the way she will get ambushed by monster closets anytime she picks up anything important or she will get ambushed by enemies without any chance to ever ambush them (they're dead silent, do not patrol around and are carefully hidden pixel perfect so you can never get the first shot). Selaco also unfortunately has a homing device installed in her head which allows enemies to make straight B lines towards her at all times once combat has started. Enemies will later also tank point blank shotgun blasts multiple times or merely get knocked back by the first grenade you shoot at them instead of instantly killed. The cards are really stacked against her!

All in all its a 7 out of 10 I guess.

Give up should be a reroll on the first room of your run not an exit to the main menu needing to reload to your last save, thus saving the exact same choices of the first """"boon"""" you get. There are WAAAY too many ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skills to justify picking something bad as your first pick when you can just die and try again to get something that is actually good. Maybe the devs are too proud to admit that there are so many skills in this game which are entirely pointless wank, making the boons more like curses a lot of the time.

If this ever changes Ill happily change it to a positive review.

Pretty fun. Individual stages need more possibilities for variation or at least more enemies in them though but I guess it is in EA

Is this a CoD game where you run around until you hit the invisible button that stops enemy spawning/triggers the next event? Feels like it

I enjoyed the demo and the full game doesn't disappoint. They do a nice thing where loading a save gives you a very quick recap on what you've done so far in the chapter and more RPGs should do this

no mouse support. as in you can't even bind mouse keys to anything. not acceptable.
