Neither Stardew Valley nor Minecraft. This is Dinkum.
CO-OP is locked on personal progression.

Souldiers is not a souls-like game. It is a difficult metroidvania even on normal mode (Soldier), but I expect much harder in a souls-like game. The easy mode should be enjoyable for casual.

As for the game itself, mechanics and progressions are pretty good. There are character levels, equipment (main weapon, sub weapon, accessories, orb, pockets), consumables. You may need to use extensive consumables for bosses. Puzzles are also enjoyable.

Unfortunately, Souldiers has achievement bugs. It must be annoying for achievement hunters. I realised it after finished Spider Lair. I even tried to beat Iktala in Soldier mode multiple times, to trigger the achievement, but no luck. Other than that, no other bug found.

This review based on progress after finished the first dungeon, Spider Lair. It took me almost 6 hours.

I play on the first trial day of SE Asia server. It is better than I expected.

Queue time in 3 matches continuesly:
(1) ~10 mins
(2) 7 mins
(3) 4 mins

First and second matches were full players 5x5 in 2x3 rounds. The third match was weird. I sent to a match called "Lobby" with 1vs1 in 3x3 rounds. More players came to the match after 1x3 rounds, but 3vs1 as me the sole team. After 2x3 rounds, the match reset with more players. It turned out, that match called "Unrated" which I queued for. So, not sure how long it takes to get me the real third unrated match.

I cannot say anything about game mode as I have to learn more. But the training mode seems to be unfinished, lack of basics.

There was Aus server's player in one of my match. He said that SE Asia is much better than Aus for active players.
Hopefully, they keep SE Asia server and the game developments.

Progress reset and stopped working bug...
Lately, I have problem with my laptop, probably my power source or overheat problem. I had few sudden turn offs while playing this game. At first, nothing happens with the game. Now I'm surprised my progress is reset to 0. My unlocked mods, maps, and coin are all gone. The worst part is that I can no longer play the game in any single player mode.
I searched fix on the game discussion. There is a fix from the developer. Sadly, it does not work for me.

Sonic dies every time and revives in a short time. I believe he will pull through it.

Rogue Lords has a non-traditional game mechanics, the in-game 'cheats' by the power of the Devil. You can use this power to do almost everything to help you win the game: depleting enemies HP/SP to 0, recovering our HP/SP, exchanging status, increasing success rate, changing path, and keep us alive. Though it sounds like cheating, it is surely the game mechanics. You may find this interesting.

The power is limited to a currency. Using the power cost you depends on the cheat. It will reset every time you start a book. You can also recover in a fountain. It may also be changed by some events.

It may looks like overpower, but No.
How did I always be killed in the first book, in the easiest difficulty?

I've been died in the final boss for a few times, and some before the final boss too. It is getting bored as I always repeat the first book and start with zero progress: stats reset, no good skill kept, no item kept, etc. There is a 'general' progress which could give you better skills in the game, but the starting always start zero, thinking like a deck of cards but your initial cards always the same. The good thing is you can change your characters if they're unlocked, so at least you can have new formation.

This game was interesting, but it is ridiculously difficult. I cannot get pass the first book. Tried some tricks but nothing works.
Though, it had been fun for my 10 hours. And perhaps, my future smarter version of me would come back to beat this.

First impression:
cute, nice graphics, slow-pace story, almost enjoyable but...
I have lag every time dialogue box appear. The text is slowly and harshly showing. I also notice my cursor is lagging while the box appear.

After digging on the discussion, it seems that I need to use alternative build. I'll update later.

Update for almost 2 hours:
The alternative build is pretty much the solution. No further lag appear.

Full review:
Finding Paradise is a wholesome life journey. We observe a life journey in a man's memory as third party, the doctors. The journey is fully supported by sound effects that bring you virtually inside the event. Some instrumental are also integrated with the story. In addition to the journey, which may bring you vulnerable, there are also comic aspects which I enjoyed.

The mechanics are mostly find items and solve a match 3 puzzle in a series of events. The items can be found by exploring the events. The match 3 puzzle is also easy to solve. The mechanics are not too challenging for enjoying the journey.

I found a lot of unexpected experience. Definitely not flat, but I'm not going to spoil other than that.

The only disappointment is the lag in the original version. The alternative build is a solid solution for my whole game experience. The only downside is that you cannot finish the achievement. Though, the achievement can be obtained by change to the original and load the last auto-save. It took me around 20 minutes.

A life journey. Comic balanced. Great soundtrack. Puzzle. Unexpected experience.

An adventure with open places. We can go back to places we explored, but the concept is mixed.
Some things remain unchanged: opened door (by button/damaged), pushed box, items dropped on the ground. But some things are reset: cut scene and talks, enemies, crates. It could be good for grinding (if needed, haven't go that far), but the cut scene is kinda weird. The cut scene should be talking about an item on the ground, it shows only ground for the second visit.
