A top quality mod for Half Life 1. It is like playing the first game but with a whole new story, characters and weapons. You can clearly see that the modder put a lot of effort and love into this mod. It also have achievements which add a plus of interest to all players out there. You can't miss this one. Recommended!

I am surprised how a indie company can make such a good survival horror game (better than Capcom to be honest). A lot of puzzles, ammo is scarce and it has that RE vibe to it. You can truly see that the developers love the RE franchise and wanted to create a proper survival horror game. The optimization is also great. So far, the best RE 7 and 8 clone. Not disapointed at all (well, some enemy animations could need a little more work but they are decent). Rcommended to all survival horror players, yes or yes!

The Thing (videogame) is set after the events of the 1982 film. A lot of people hated the game back then but I enjoyed it a lot when i was a kid (I wasn't supposed to play it because the game had the "terror" icon (spider logo behind the game box) and rated for mature audience). But that's what made the game even better, being scared by every step i did and shutting down the PC and running to the living room are golden moments of my childhood. That's why this game has a special place in my memories. Pure nostalgia! The remastered version improved a lot of things. One of them is the scripted transformations of your squad members. Now they get infected if they get hit by the thing creatures rather than transforming when reaching X area of the mission (some of them may be scripted because of the story). The visuals improved a lot and the game runs smooth as butter. Recommended!

PD: the only downside are the achievements. I think Nightdive Studios was pretty lazy in this matter. A little bit disappointed to be honest as i would have loved to do a lot of runs. Not only that, but it is more casual friendly now (a lot of ammo / medikits, checkpoints and the removal of ammo clips). Also, the store page mentions 20 levels when in the original were 16. Where are the other 4 extra levels?

Patch 1.1: This patch fixes a lot of things. One of them, and the most important for me, is the difficulty. Now, very hard feels different, with less medikits and ammo. For example, in the first mission you get 4-5 medikits. Well, after the patch you only receive 1 medikit. They also fixed a broken achievement that was impossible to obtain

Octopath Traveler 2 is a huge improvement over the first game. I started with Hikari (warrior) because I loved it when playing the demo long ago. I must say that only a few games made me drop a tear and this game is one of them. The stories are more impactful, better real time cutscenes and also with better voice acting. The latent power moves are spectacular and they are a good addition to the game. Not only that but the crossed path stories are also a good addition (it involves two characters). And if that wasn't enough to rate this game as a masterpiece, the soundtrack is one of the best i have ever heard in a videogame. If you loved Octopath Traveler 1, you will love this one even more! Recommended!

I played Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth back in 2008-2009. It was creepy as h*ll and I loved it. When this game was announced i got really excited. When i saw all the negative stuff that the people threw at the game i started to wonder if it was worth to play it. One day, a Steam friend (thank you Ramo) gifted me the game, tried it out but still did not convinced me. In 2023 i gave it another chance and oh my god. Apparently is a good game. The atmosphere is creepy and it makes you stay on guard all the time (the mansion location as example). Cyanide and Focus are not a well known companies and with a "bad" reputation but i think here they did a great job (not amazing, but good enough). The unique thing that this game offers is how you want to play: Use your strength for solve the problems quickly, dialogue skills, lockpicking, etc. Recommended to all lovecraft fans!

This is the true successor of Gothic. After the big fail of Gothic 3, they went to their correct path again and made a masterpiece: Risen. This game has so many Gothic 1-2 vibes and also feels like an improved version of it. The combat is still a little bit clunky but better than all the other games they made. The atmosphere is really good. It has that dark fantasy feeling to it, i can't describe it. The interaction with the environment is amazing. You can do practically everything, even using a pickaxe for extract gold / iron etc, cooking / eating (real time animations), forging and more. The voice acting is really good as well and there are a lot of conversation lines. Some of them will lead to funny comments and some others into troubles or rewards. Risen feels like one of those games with endless things to do and ways to complete your goals. Meaning: 100% freedom. I recommend this game to all RPG fans out there, because it really is a good one!

An amazing game set in the 40's where the player will take the rol of a Detective named Cole Phelps. From the very beginning of the game, the environment and the music makes you feel as a true detective. The facial animations are crucial for your cases and it was pretty amazing back in the day (to be honest, is the only game i saw with this much detail in facial expressions). The weakest point of the game is its action moments. Cole seems to have infinite ammo and most of the conflicts end the same way. Other than that, it is an amazing experience for anyone who likes games like Mafia or The Godfather

Never played Halo before (well, only the top-down shooters aka Spartan Assault / Strike) and I must say that I enjoyed the first couple of missions (starting from Halo CE). Coop is even more fun. It is a good game with a lot of campaigns and stuff to do. The gun sounds and animations are decent. The gameplay is more tactical rather than fast paced. I will surely put a lot of hours and more in coop with my lovely partner ♥. Recommended for new players and fans alike

Another amazing HL2 mod by the same creators of Snowdrop Escape. The scenarios are really beautiful and the weapons sounds and animations are really good. And the best from all, is FREE! If you enjoyed other HL2 mods this one is definitely worth your time

I am really disapointed with RE4R. It feels slugish and the animations seems not completely fine. Not only that but it also feels simplified, like if Capcom did this remake for a more casual / younger public. The game has also a lot of performance issues and requires a powerful rig to play it (a little bit of optimization would have been nice for the people that has mid range rigs, like they did with RE2 and RE3 Remakes). Why they don't simply used the version of the RE engine used on those remakes? It would have been more accessible for the people. Just saying (not everyone can afford a NASA pc lol). Also, there are a lot of people that went back to the original RE4 after playing this remake. That means a lot and Capcom should take notice.

Here is a video showing love and care (RE4) vs technology (RE4R):

- The Mercenaries DLC release:

The Mercenaries is just a joke. Even casuals can get high score because of how simplified it is compared to the original. The mayhem mode makes it even easier. Characters such as Hunk or Wesker (also Krauser) are also a joke. Wesker and Krauser can spam melee attacks non-stop and Hunk has infinite ammo and smg rapid fire using mayhem mode (feels like cheating to be honest). They turned The Mercenaries in some sort of circus just for make younger audience happy LMFAO. So sad. But that's Capcom for you. And to be honest, they are this close to lose one of its most loyal fan here: me. I know, they won't miss me if i leave this franchise, the franchise that i loved so much (and i still do....) but i had to say it. This franchise changed so much to the point where i do not recognize it anymore.
