I played this game a lot during 1.0, and I play it way less in current state, because it just drains my sanity.
1.0 had some problems, but was enjoyable. You could play any playstyle and it was effective if you played well.
1.1 ruined the game entirely. Now it's **** formations every game and through ball, kick off, corner kick spam meta. Responsiveness is terrible, half the time it's either your or your opponents players that completely ignore the ball that is right next to them.

It's a frustrating game. And on top of that you get a gacha system with legned boxes. You have 150 players in the box, 3 of them are legends, the rates are abysmal, so if you're unlucky you can go all the way to 147-150.
But you hardly get any f2p coins at all as well. So if you're f2p and there's your favourite player/childhood hero in a legend box this week, tough luck. Konami might send you a gift of 100 coins spread over a week of log ins, that will get you your 3star player and that's about it.

Comparing to FIFA. In concept eFootball is a much better game, the gameplay would be amazing if it worked. FIFA is hardly a good representation of real life football, but it's a game that functions miles better.
