I honestly thought this game was gonna be just okay, but after giving it a fair shake this game turned out to be better than I thought.

Animations are a bit janky, there isn't a whole lot of content even with the DLCs, but this game has actually good bones.

different classes, a unique perk system which is insanely modular, great slew of guns with good balancing. Environments are great to look at, the game even has certain details down pat such as the Pulse Rifle's firing sound, and the motion tracker's noises.

for 10 bucks or less, great game

After just finishing the game, I love it's world building and story, I see why many cherish it dearly.

However, I can't help but feel combat is for sure showing it's age, there were a few (not many) moments where the game felt unfairly difficult.

All in all, the game is solid, you'll have to install some mods to get it to run on a modern system, but besides that I think it's worth playing through at least once.

All I know is MP1 and 2's stories will thrive with the upcoming remakes.

Coming from someone who's played the original, this is a definite buy. Even if you haven't played IV1 this is the best way to play it.

It was really cool seeing all the missions have different layouts that play better while still keeping their aesthetics. Soundtrack also is superb. Worth every dollar

It's not terrible but I genuinely think The Crew 2 is better than this game, here's why:

Pros:

+ Beautiful map, island is full of life
+ Sound design is the best in the series
+ Every TC2 Car is here, and you can import them for free (you can skip some grind if your rich on The Crew 2)
+ New car selection, including new JDM cars and more
+ New simcade style handling, which for some may be a con but it's actually decently well done

- UI isn't very good
- Playlist system as a concept is good, but in execution is terrible (Big Issue #1)
- You have to grind your ass off as money is hard to come by until very very late game (Big Issue #2)
- Performance is ehh (I don't have the best PC but it exceeds minimum requirements)
- Servers are 100% worse than The Crew 2's

Game isn't terrible but it isn't as great as some are making it out to be, it can be great, ubisoft just needs to put the work in

in almost every way shape or form this game clears motorfest minus visuals and maybe sound design.

Way to further support the composer and main dev of the game, gives you:

- The games whole soundtrack, including their gameplay counterparts
- 2 (very good) bonus weapons, with 4 more coming in the first major update increasing that number to 6

Genuinely worth imo

Intravenous 1 but with:

- Longer and more interesting storyline
- 4 endings where your actions can determine the story's outcome
- Better level design, with side missions available
- Bigger variety of weapons and gadgets
- Weapon customization, allowing you to change weapons based on your playstyle
- 2 Characters, each having a different background, ability, and skills to upgrade overtime
- Super polished, with updates releasing almost everyday with bugfixes
- Content confirmed for the future, alongside map editor and steam workshop support like IV1

Wonderful Game

When it works, it's a great game, combat and customization and exploration are probably the best out of any Star Wars game.

That being said, the performance and technical issues in this game make it borderline unplayable for me, Fallen Order runs at 60 FPS on all Epic settings 95% of the time, and I am stuck on Medium-Low at 40 FPS and stuttering on Survivor. Get a grip Respawn.
