Finally Factorio got some bugs

Unfortunately the devs are more interested in adding more features and making the game grindy, instead of fixing issues like the horrible FPS (Unity engine btw), bad balancing and bugs. I usually like these 2d indie games and I saw the automation in this game and I was disappointed

You cant even move with your inventory open

I bought the game on Epic as soon as it came out so I don't have many hours here (yet).

TLDR: Satisfactory is an ok game but Factorio is simply better.

Satisfactory is a fine game but instead of gameplay, it focuses on graphics and 3d. Compared to Factorio, there is less to do and you can't grow the base into a 1000hr megabase because of the performance. The 2d aspect of Factorio makes the management less of a pain because you can ctrl+c ctrl+v things and other stuff that is just impossible in a 1st person 3d game. Also terraforming is not a thing so nearly all bases just end up being huge flying platforms in the sky.

Also Satisfactory is really buggy, even buggier in multiplayer. About 50% of our sky base flooring just goes missing to the other players.

edit: Satisfactory is now more expensive than Factorio, which makes no sense, it is as if they thought that since Satisfactory is 3D, it must be better than Factorio which is 2D. I cannot recommend an inferior game which is more expensive so this review drops to 'not recommended'

Bait and switch to a kernel level malware anti-cheat

Endless fun of listening to your friends raging in the voice chat because they are dying once every 15 minutes. (git gud sardinooo)

Unbalanced when playing solo.

The first two hours (conveniently so that you cannot refund after that) are fun and balanced. After the bronze age, its just pure garbage that expects you to have an army of friends to play with.

Buggy and short game. No replay value. I got all achievements in 38 hours, most of the time went into fighting bugs like bounty hunters not spawning and that forced me to restart FROM THE BEGINNING 3 TIMES. Maybe get it from a -90% discount.

I am not even joking when I say that this mess is more buggy than Ark: Survival Evolved. Items dupe randomly, you die and ragdoll into air randomly, z-fighting and mesh bugs everywhere, even player models lose their body parts when dead. The game has not crashed for me yet so that is good. Even the design here is just bad, for example: you can make a raft and expand it, but if you missclick and build the raft base next to the existing raft, it cannot be combined to it afterwards. You don't even get to deconstruct it so you just lose the resources.

Fun concept. Raft is the same but with no bugs, more fun, infinite (this game is not infinite and most resources just deplete) and more content. Only thing this has got is better graphics.

Please don't waste your money on this, if this game seems interesting check out Raft instead.
