While the game starts out enjoyable it quickly shows just how unfinished and unbalanced the game is; some level are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy with how unbalanced the difficulty curve is, only for it to dip drastically in the next level, some moves lack sound effects and the level music and boss music do not have proper loop points, frankly all the music in the games has no proper loop points.
While gungrave could've been good with more time in the oven as it stands it's a frustrating mess of a game.
If you really want to try this game wait for a big discount.

Revelations tries to bring back that horror atmosphere that has been missing since re5 (in my opinion) it does somewhat succeed in this, while also improving the gameplay of re5 and completely discarding the action emphasis that re6 had, don't get me wrong there a few heavy action sequences but nothing to the extent of re6.

All in all it's a good game with a pretty good focus on atmosphere, improved gameplay from re5 and some pretty good monster designs, my recommendation would be if you've been completely let down by re6 then definitely try this game out.
Also Raid mode is awesome it's basically hoard mode with re characters.
