Absolutely my favorite remake. This remake keeps the spirit of the original Silent Hill 2 perfectly and expands on it. The environments ESPECIALLY are so breath taking. I also adore the soundtrack of both the original and this remake. My only gripe is that picking up items can feel clunky. During the final boss there are items scattered around and I could barely pick them up if I approached it at a very specific angle. If you're able to, I'd recommend playing both the original and remake. The original still holds up well and both are worth experiencing.
