2K Launcher removal + previous Windows update broke Civ 5 to the point that I couldn't get the executable to launch.

Latest Windows 11 Feature update (update something something 25) fixed it for me, so I would recommend trying that!

At this time, I honest to God would not buy it.

They are selling 20+ year old games for a massive increase in price without fixing any of the original bugs or glitches and have ultimately made several more game-breaking or extremely frustrating bugs in the process.

For example, in BF1, if you set a server password, nobody else can join. In BF2, the server host is locked to 30 FPS and the game runs like dogwater.

I genuinely do not believe the development team(s) that "remastered" this did any actual work, other than port it from (seemingly) the console versions to PC and "upscale" it with AI (Dooku still has his infamous chest-texture glitch and his face looks horrible, for example). Can't even justify buying this for the multiplayer, because on both Steam and GOG the multiplayer on the originals is fully-functional and doesn't $h!t itself when you try to play it.

Multiplayer servers are horrible, can't even finish most matches, some settings that absolutely should be in the game aren't there at all, zero anti-cheat, half the cinematics in the campaign just don't exist anymore.

TL;DR: MASSIVE, disgusting cashgrab. Absolutely infuriating what they did to this series. Don't buy it right now. It might be better in the future, but the devs clearly did not treat this with any real care. The player base of this is gonna die within a month unless they fix it.

Before this came on Steam, I had been playing for close to 8 or 9 years. I know a good deal about it, I'd like to say. This game is great in so many ways, awful in so many others, but at the end of the day, I love the game and the communities around it.

Madden on PC REALLY sucks.

This is probably the best Madden on PC yet. Genuinely, I love the gameplay. I haven't had as much fun with a MAdden game since Madden 25. Is it perfect? No. Is it fun? Yeah, I think so. I just play franchise and H2H and I enjoy it.

What's funny is I remember playing this when it was F2P; there was a very active, tight-knit community and it made the game a LOT of fun to play because of it.

The modding community was nice, there were roleplay servers, all kinds of stuff.

The full-access release is definitely fun, and overall massively improved, but I still kinda miss the "old" version of this janky little game. It was a great time!

8.5/10, sometimes the missions get really repetitive, really quick; can be quite a snoozer alone, but great with friends.

Greatest Star Wars game of ALL time.
