The perfect mix between Vampire Survivors, Hades and Diablo 1

I played before and after the gloomrot update.
What I look for in Early Access is clear evolution between patches and there definitely have been strides being made. I actually enjoy the game so much more now with the Gloomrot update than I used to. The game already feels complete when it comes to functionality, the narrative culmination of your journey to become a dominant vampire again is a bit lacking and I believe that's what they are looking to fill, especially with the map having two big zones that are inaccessible still.
The game is fun with friends and solo, but it's definitely made for multiplayer. Hosting is easy, wether you use a dedicated paid service or a dedicated self-hosting on your computer.

Only gives me motion sickness in speed based builds

Now I'm several hundreds of hours in, I can confirm that : i5 6600k and 1070Ti have the game working great in low and even medium, though it was not as good on release day, patches and hotfixes definitely made some assets heavy cutscenes feel better. You CAN play in Ultra if you don't mind waiting a lot for scene changes and see chaotic models run around you as they prepare for the cutscene (your character is one of said characters and will not move). It's gonna be a bit choppy but every pore is worth it.

The scenario really is excellent, so are the characters ! I'm super in love with one of them that I won't mention to avoid outing myself as a filthy monsterf4cker.

Please download the medieval coffin dance mod, I think I lost it when my wife died and it played.

Nice game to let run in the background but also not uselessly idle with the ultimate abilities system

Really engaging, the micro management is what I prefer and the deadliness what keeps me coming back in between games. Heard there was a decent competitive scene that's supported by the devs which means I'll always recommend (also COCORICO ! if you understood this, now you gotta buy this game !)

Rather cool mind numbing endless farm game where you're a space ninja, pretty dope.
