While not the best game in its technical execution, this game shines through a level of immersion I have not felt in a long time. The protagonist and story feel so alive and true and you get a real sense of experiencing a historic Medieval Province. While Henry does get more powerful as the game progresses he never levels up to super hero.
But my absolute favourite aspect of the game is that it's so easy to really roleplay the character you envision Henry to be: straight as an arrow - sure, crooked as a politician - easy, religious fanatic - halleluiah, loyal to the point of stupidity - go for it, mercenary to the core - course, the game gives you so many ways to decide for yourself how you want to play this game, want to be a knight in shining armour or want to stay a peasant in look and feel - everything goes, and the game will react to it. By choosing which sub quests and side missions to do (and how) it really feels like Henry is in control of his decisions and is not a wholly prescript sleeve that goes through the motions.

All in all, awesome game, so happy I finally got around to removing it from my pile of shame!!

Awesome modern 4X game

Spend some time clicking together your small canal village and enjoy how it comes together

One of the best Sandbox/Base Builders I have ever played. Very flexible, an enormous library of mods, ongoing development and improvements, just all around 10/10

This is by far my favorite Lego Game. It's filled with humor that's only possible with Lego, but still keeps true to the story and epicness of the original. Finished 100%

Weird, mesmerizing, depressing, inspiring, confusing, and very, very compelling. This is a piece of art in game form. Gameplay mechanics could be explained a little better, and some parts are just plain confusing, but all in all I came away deeply touched, thinking about life and what everything means for me.

Awesome timekiller, takes a lot of concentration, love it

Simpler than Dwarf Fortress, but still engaging & pretty decent controls.

There is no game quite like this, and I don't think another one would work. It's mindnumbingly repetitive, but also engaging and nervewrecking.
I love it and replay it now and then just to get back into the spirit...

This game will absolutely turn your brain into mush!
