This game is awesome. It's really really awesome. It has great atmosphere, hauntingly good sound design, and awesome music. The gunplay is suitable right now and I can see the fundamentals for the game to expand and get better.
And despite the fact that there is no matchmaking, there is matchmaking, you just have to put a little effort and have discord.
The game allows you to copy lobby links and paste them into discord. When somebody else on discord copies the link they'll get a button to join your game. This allows it so you don't have to add a person as a friend every time you want to play with someone new. And the game has an entire discord to support this functionality.
I honestly recommend this system over normal matchmaking because it helps you find more people that are actually serious about playing through the levels. I met a whole group of guys and we all learned the game and cheered each other on through the first steps.
